  We just returned from Orange Beach and are ready to go back. Our family, 4 adults and 3 children (ages 5,3,1), were able to enjoy a wonderful beach and an awesome condo. One of the primary reasons our trip went so smoothly was that the condo was perfect and working with the owner was an absolute joy. A very helpful fact regarding the owner was that upon securing the condo, i was sent several documents that made our vacation even that much easier to plan. It included directions, parking passes, restaurant suggestions, activities outside of the beach, and so much more. With this being my first trip to Orange Beach, that was a huge asset. Another item worth mentioning was that the evening of our first night, the owner contacted us to make sure that we had a safe trip and to verify that we were pleased with the condo- that is worth every penny. The pictures of the condo are perfect and the condo was a step above luxury. Being on the 4th floor, we were high enough to not hear any noises at the pool but low enough that any fear of heights wasn't an issue. Having young children, i was pleased that the railing on the condo balcony was close enough that our children were completely secure. Every room had its own flat screen tv with dvd player which was very nice so that we didn't have to watch kids movies the entire time. In the master closet was a pack-n-play and in the other two closets were extra twin beds which will be useful next summer. There were toys to play with on the beach in a closet on the balcony- that saved us some money since our kids were constantly building castles. The weather was cool enough that we swam in the in-door pool most days but both the in-door and out-door pool were kept in pristine condition. It was obvious that the amenities at the Romar Place are kept at the highest standards. I looked at several condo's including many high rise units but one thing to know was that this condo unit wasn't that crowded on the beach- most of the taller condo's were extremely crowded even in the slower times which makes me just imagine what it would be like during peak season. This condo is not far from Walmart which was very nice. We will return! In regards to restaurants that we would recommend, our favorite was LuLu's in gulf shores- we ate there twice. The food was awesome and the restaurant is truly kid friendly. Pick up a entertainment guide because there are valuable coupons in those books for meals and activities.

  What a wonderful vacation! Great restaurants within a couple miles of the condo...Bubbas and Cottons right down the street. On highway 161 a few miles away, Cosmos was wonderful as was Diamond Jim's and Miss Donna's. Excellent food and service at Diamond Jim's!! The Crab Trap just over the FL line is always a favorite! The grocery stores and pharmacy were close by, as was an office service. That came in handy as I had to take care of some work obligations, and needed the services of a notary and FAX. Very close to Mobile, Magnolia Springs, and Foley (with the best Tanger outlet mall).The beach was perfect! Beautiful white sugar sand with awesome beach chairs from Fred, the chair guy who worked the beach like a pro! Make time for Gulf Shores National Park, less than a mile away...lovely trails, and bikes to rent at the head of one of the trails (only $15 per day). And the best of all was the owner, who couldn't have been easier to work with, thanks so much!! I will definately be back to this lovely condo next year! I better hurry and reserve my two weeks now!

  We loved the condo and its view of the ocean! Our family liked the smaller complex. We arrived to a nice, clean unit with all the amenities of home. Just a short walk to white sand beaches and 2 nice pools. What more could you ask for when on vacation?

  Dear Sally, Just wanted to let you know we really enjoyed staying at your condo. The location is really convenient to everything. The views were awesome, especially at sunrise. We made sure we were up with a cup of coffee to watch the show every morning. Our family of 14 always head to the beach in the summer. Hope we can get both condos next year. Thanks for your attention to all the details we needed to make this trip special.

  The condo was perfect for our family with three older teenagers. There was enough space for everybody to spread out but we could be together when we wanted. The kitchen was well stocked and there's a new WalMart down the highway. The beach was beautiful and didn't seem too crowded, even over the 4th of July holiday. Sally was great to work with and I would highly recommend staying at one of her properties.

  We loved staying at Romar 404. We cooked most if our meals in - the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is a kids closet stocked with beach toys. The unit has CD's, books, games - everything you need for a great vacation. The roll-away beds are not like cots - they are nice beds with quality, new mattresses. The master bedroom also has a brand new pillow top mattress. Sally makes taking a vacation stress free. I found her " vacation information" package most helpful with recommendations on restaurants, things to do, and where to shop along with other tidbits of useful info. . Beautiful beach and nice pools. I will definetly stay here again.

  Although I have stayed at bigger, newer, complexes, I would totally recommend staying at the smaller complex like the Romar Place unit 404. We were there at peak Spring season, and we never had to fight for chairs by the pool nor did we ever encounter too many people in the indoor pool. Our bedroom faced the street and I am a very light sleeper. There was not ONE night where I was woke up by noisy cars, people, etc. Being that there are only 6 rooms per floor (3 on one side of the elevator, 3 on the other side of the elevator) there were never people disturbing our sleep, as in bigger complexes I am constantly woke up by outside noises in the hallways, etc. Also, I really liked the fact that there is a security camera just about anywhere you go outside of your condo....each hallway on each floor, the pools (indoor and out) the elevator, etc. had camera, which I found comforting because there is proof of riff raff if it occurred. In our case, there was no such instance, but it helps to have the extra security to prevent any such happenings. The owner was very good about answering any questions or concerns before, during and after our visit! The only thing I would say to improve are the dust bunnies on the floor and I know it is hard to "deep clean" after each visitor, but there were some instances where I thought the floors should have been a little cleaner. Sometimes my expectations are a little too high, though, so I just clean what I find needs a little touch up :) All in all, I would recommend and return to unit 404 in the future!

  Working with Sally from the beginning was GREAT! She made the entire booking experience effortless. When we arrived and walked into the front door of our condo it was more than we expected. Everything was so neat and clean and the view of the beach INCREDIBLE. Each morning we sat on the balcony and enjoyed our coffee and most mornings were greeted by the dolphins jumping in the water - I could not believe my eyes. Sally provided information to our family of great places to eat and fun things to do. The beach was well maintained and very enjoyable. We will DEFINITELY be back to Orange Beach and will DEFINITELY be staying at one of Sally's condo's again.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.
