Although I have stayed at bigger, newer, complexes, I would totally recommend staying at the smaller complex like the Romar Place unit 404. We were there at peak Spring season, and we never had to fight for chairs by the pool nor did we ever encounter too many people in the indoor pool. Our bedroom faced the street and I am a very light sleeper. There was not ONE night where I was woke up by noisy cars, people, etc. Being that there are only 6 rooms per floor (3 on one side of the elevator, 3 on the other side of the elevator) there were never people disturbing our sleep, as in bigger complexes I am constantly woke up by outside noises in the hallways, etc. Also, I really liked the fact that there is a security camera just about anywhere you go outside of your condo....each hallway on each floor, the pools (indoor and out) the elevator, etc. had camera, which I found comforting because there is proof of riff raff if it occurred. In our case, there was no such instance, but it helps to have the extra security to prevent any such happenings. The owner was very good about answering any questions or concerns before, during and after our visit! The only thing I would say to improve are the dust bunnies on the floor and I know it is hard to "deep clean" after each visitor, but there were some instances where I thought the floors should have been a little cleaner. Sometimes my expectations are a little too high, though, so I just clean what I find needs a little touch up :) All in all, I would recommend and return to unit 404 in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were 6 of us - 3 adults and 3 kiddos - plenty of room for all of us. The condo was beautifully decorated, had the most amazing view, and was so comfortable (from the couches, to the luxurious sheets, to the cute dishware, to the DVDs in every bedroom, to all of the beach gear waiting for us in the outside closet!). It truly felt like a home-away-from-home, and Sally couldn't have made it any easier. Everything was so smooth. I'd highly recommend this condo and working with Sally. It was a great experience for us!

Working with Sally from the beginning was GREAT! She made the entire booking experience effortless. When we arrived and walked into the front door of our condo it was more than we expected. Everything was so neat and clean and the view of the beach INCREDIBLE. Each morning we sat on the balcony and enjoyed our coffee and most mornings were greeted by the dolphins jumping in the water - I could not believe my eyes. Sally provided information to our family of great places to eat and fun things to do. The beach was well maintained and very enjoyable. We will DEFINITELY be back to Orange Beach and will DEFINITELY be staying at one of Sally's condo's again.

Thank you for sharing your condo with us! We had a wonderful, relaxing week! The weather was PERFECT and we wish we could stay another week. (We love the view.) We enjoyed the initial key entry upon our arrival - it was nice to walk in, unpack, check things out and get some sleep without having to go through a long drawn out check-in process. We appreciated the ease of it all as we had a long day of driving to get here. We hope to return again - save us a week!! P.S. The waves are very soothing to fall asleep and wake up to.

THANKSGIVING 2010 AT THE BEACH! Beautiful unseasonably warm..sunny days in the lower 80's! Lots of food..get together with great friends..and football- WAR EAGLE!!-Congrats to Cam-2010 Heisman Trophy winner from Auburn University!!! Great place to stay. Beautiful view. What more could you ask for!

Sally, Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo! The location was perfect and the view was awesome! Sitting on the balcony listening to the ocean waves was just the break we needed. I couldn't think of a better birthday weekend! There was plenty of space for 3 adults, one 12 year old, two 5 year olds and two 2 year olds. Hope to come again soon!

We have rented this unit 2 years in a row. Sally has ALWAYS made sure she has accomodated us in any way that she could. We plan to make this our home away from anytime we can get away. The oil should not make anyone stop coming down to view and enjoy these beautifull beaches! We rented 2 units from Sally this trip and made it a family vacation. We were not affected at all by the oil. The beaches were beautiful as was the water. Although the water was closed....the beaches are open and so are the pools. Everyone that loves this area as much as we do needs to come down and support the area. The only thing that we seen missing was the crowds, other than that, everything is the same. This unit is by far the best unit we have ever stayed in. It is not only beautifully decorated, but it is so home like. I love the master bedroom and balcony. I open the door and listen to the ocean waves during the night. It is so wonderful!

I want to thank you for allowing our family to stay in your condo. The decor is absolutely beautiful and everything was provided for our needs. We were so amazed at the huge balcony. At night, we would sit on the balcony for hours and just listen to the waves. Unfortunately, we could not swim in the ocean BUT that didn't damper our trip. The condo has an outdoor and indoor pool along with a whirlpool. There is so much to do in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores. We canoed the Styx River, ate at several restaurants, went to the Hangout and LuLu's for live entertainment and great food. We also drove to the Pensacola Air Naval Base and looked at all the planes and history behind them. THANKS AGAIN!

My family just spent a perfect week at Romar 404. It was our first vacation with our 5 month old grandaughter and the condo was perfect for everyone. It is very well kept and everything from making our reservations to our departure was very simple and straight forward. The view was perfect.

Me and two members of my men's tennis team stayed here for a state championship at Gulf Shores. We very much enjoyed our stay and found the accommodations to be excellent, the view of the beach to be beautiful and the location to be ideal. We also liked the indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Extra keys, bars of soap and toilet tissue awaited us, a welcome surprise!

Our family enjoyed staying at Romar Place. The building is not a high-rise which is the feature selling point for us. It is easy to get to the beach; just walk down a few flights of stairs. There is a very nice outdoor and indoor pool. The beach is not crowded. The condo itself is very well decorated. There is a large balcony on which to enjoy meals or just relax with a good book. The kitchen is adequately stocked. We have stayed in two of Sally's properties and love both of them. It's a great home-away-from home. We will be back! Thanks for letting us use your beautiful place!

Thank you so much for letting us use your condo. This is the perfect condo for a GIRLS WEEKEND! The balcony is huge and has a Wonderful view of the Gulf. Thank you for your phone message all the girls were impressed with it and it was nice to not have to find someone to let us in! I will definitely have to tell all my family and friends about your condo. If you are not sure about using VBRO, Sally will make it nice and easy for you. This condo has anything that you could possible need, great location, easy beach access, nice indoor and outdoor pool, dry sauna, hot tub, grills. You name it, this one has it! Would not go anywhere else! ?
