Experience life in a "real" log home. This home was built by our own hands, with the help of many family members and friends. The logs were shipped here from Victor, Montana. They are 10 inch lodge pole pine logs and they are secured with 14 inch lag bolts.
The master bedroom is on the main level with a roomy bathroom that includes a large garden jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The upper level has 2 sets of log bunk beds(twin over double), a full bath, as well as, a spacious open loft area w/full size bed (with great views of the lake). There is also a game room, two twin beds, full bath and laundry room in the basement.
The view from the deck is best described as "the Million Dollar View". The perfect place to sit and sip a cup of coffee in the mornings and view the expansive sky and stars at night. Lake is seasonal, mountains are year round with a view of Brasstown Bald in the distance.

What a spectacular weekend-the view of the mountains, the wild life surrounding us, the wonderful cabin! This was our first trip to the mountains to view the fall foliage, and it was quite lovely. We're used to seeing only "green" mountains. Thank you for making this trip possible.

Dear Paolucci Family, Our heartfelt thanks to you for allowing us to stay in your cabin. The cabin is just beautiful and the view from it is awesome. The kids enjoyed the game room so much.(Adults too!) Seeing the geese and the deer close by was exciting, too. We ate at Mike's Seafood Diner and we highly recommend it. Again, we thank you for the use of the cabin-maybe we will do it again in the future.

Dear Paolucci Family, What a wonderful blessing it has been to stay in your beautiful home after our son's wedding! Even though it has rained all weekend-we have had such a good time. The rain has actually been beautiful to watch through the windows. And having the pool table, the ping-pong and foosball table was much fun for the family (especially during the rain). Thank you Paolucci family for the peaceful,lovely view your cabin provides to any fortunate enough to stay here. Beds were very comfortable-plenty of room for all. We really liked the upstairs layout. Watched geese and a crane one morning, the full moon rise over the mountains one evening,and deer just around the corner. Some of us went white water rafting with Ocoee Rafting on Sat. Fortunately, our raft did not provide a show,but one or two others did. Sunday a few of us drove 129 thru Chattahoochee National Forest (an extremely winding road) to visit the Mt.View Gem Mining Establishment. The girls had fun and arranged for an Amethyst each to be cut for a ring setting. A really nice getaway for us all.

Saturday morning brought a beautiful sunrise filtering through the clouds and mist shrouding the hills. All the better viewed from the deck perched on the hillside overlooking the lake. Such moments were those most appreciated by the adults once the kids were asleep or prior to their rising. Kid time, was anytime-filled with games and time in the lake. A wonderful, peaceful stay-thank you.
