  Excellant home to rent for the week. Large areas to meet in. Very nice area. Nice people to work with. We would rent this home again.

  The property was clean and maintained, the description online was accurate. Excellent for family reunion, the movie theater was a huge hit with everyone. Very well located, many restaurants and shops nearby. Owner was very friendly and easy to work with.

  The Columns was perfect for our family reunion. The pool was essential for end of July weather and we used it daily. The bedrooms are huge, especially the master which allowed the biggest family to lay air mattresses on the floor for their kids. The movie theater room was awesome and the kids could hang up there without disturbing anyone else. It does get hot in the theater so bring a fan for it. The dining room was big and there were extra tables and chairs so we could all eat together. The kitchen is big and has a good amount of silverware and dishes. I would suggest you bring some of your own cooking utensils though. It seemed to be a random assortment of knives and other items. In a nutshell we absolutely loved the place and will stay here again in a heartbeat. The price was great and it is a block away from grocery stores, restaurants, etc.

  What a great place to entertain! Our small family stayed here three nights, and it was pleasant, but it really shone when we invited friends and family over. One evening, we invited parents, 9 brothers and sisters, and their families over (a total of around 40 people) and the house accommodated them all very comfortably. The younger kids (teens and below) congregated pool side - there was plenty of table and chair room for a half dozen or so of them to eat up there, about 10 ate in the dining room, most of the rest were on the front porch in the provided rocking chairs, in "stadium" chairs family members brought, or sitting on the steps. Throughout the night, there was regular flow from the kitchen into the dining room and the two living rooms, into the game room where pool games were often being played, onto the upstairs porch, or the downstairs porch. A great time was had by all. One important note for anyone trying to get to the house - turn off of Sheridan on 185th, and then turn left. GPS systems don't seem to have much luck by putting in the Oxford address.

  To celebrate Mother's 80th birthday, a scattered family of 12, rented the Columns for a long weekend. The home was "as pictured" with all the amenities described. Clean & Spacious rooms allowed for togetherness or privacy when needed. We cooked, found everything and more in the kitchen. Even the laundry facilities were used. The grandkids had many options to lay their air mattresses without being in the way. Their favorite was the Theater Room where we showed family movies & slides. We found the location to be very convenient for anything needed (groceries or take out). Only the lack of outdoor seating was disappointing. The weather was not quite warm enough to the enjoy the pool, but it was inviting. Grandma brought the basketball that was enjoyed by those with an active spirit.

  A group of us from OKC participated in the Warrior Dash in Tulsa the weekend of 9/24/11 and were looking for a place nearby to stay. What a find this is! 7,000 square feet of luxury living with 5 bedrooms, a theatre room, pool table, basketball, pool and spacious grounds - and with 5 couples it was cheaper per person than the lowest priced dump hotel. I can honestly say we didn't want to leave. The home is beautiful and though sparsely furnished, it is adequate for most people. We didn't cook, but the kitchen was beautiful. There is wifi, the ability to play your iPod music throughout the house, but be warned - if your guests are avid TV watchers the only TV is in the 3rd floor theater room - which is awesome! Things to bring: Rafts for the pool, basketball for the court, Ipod for the in-house speakers, and your own robe (excellent Jacuzzi baths). We are already planning our next trip to Tulsa for a concert and will be renting this home again!

  We - a group of nine friends - stayed here when we visited Tulsa for a friend's wedding. This home was the perfect way for us all to be together; so much better than staying in the same hotel! The property was beautiful and fully equipped for our needs, just as described and pictured on this site. The owners were professional but very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying there so much that we all talk of it wistfully, wishing there would be another occasion for us to "need" a home in Tulsa ... especially the guys, who LOVED their "man cave" (theater)! We all recommend The Coulumns!!

  First I have to start off with the gracious hospitality of the owner, Charlotte. From the beginning of planning this retreat to the last minute details, Charlotte was extremely helpful and patient with all of my questions and requests. As soon as you enter the home. the decor makes you feel like your right at home and every room is absolutely GORGEOUS, spacious and clean!! The master bedroom even has its own fireplace overlooking the large jacuzzi bath. The home was specially decorated for Christmas which added joy to our occasion. Each bedroom has its own unique decor and you can walk right onto the long stretched balcony from three of the bedrooms and sigh at the amazing view of Tulsa while relaxing on the rocking chairs. There is also an extra open room that could serve as a playroom, dance room or for extra sleeping arrangements. At the end of the night we could not get enough of the theatre room which was cozy and lots of fun. We also enjoyed listening to our favorite songs throughout the day and evening through the house's sound system. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool this time, but we look forward to renting again when it's much warmer.

  We took our family here for Labor Day weekend 2010. With 5 bedrooms, there was ample room for me & my husband, our 4 kids & spouses, and 6 grandchildren. The listing description on this home was accurate; the listing photos reflected reality; the property was clean & maintained; and the owner was especially helpful. Her husband even came over to help us with a family photo. We prepared all of our own food, and serving food on the kitchen island was perfect! With the theatre, the pool, the grounds, the 2 living areas and big kitchen and dining area, we had no desire to go anywhere else. There is a park close by that has a wonderful playground that our grandkids enjoyed. We highly recommend The Columns!
