Susan, my lovely wife of 39 years, and I recently retired. It was one of those major corporate transitions that prompted this -- and, We Love It! We downsized by selling our suburban home and moved to Milwaukee's vibrant north end. At the same time we purchased this 3 bedroom condo to go along with our 1 bedroom, also located at Palm Beach(listing 109306). On the surface we are now in the rental business along with a 'million' others...and we know it! Thus, our goal, our focus, is to create a vacation condo experience filled with positive, 'I want to return...' experiences.

What a wonderful place! The location is fantastic, the view exquisite! Four of us stayed during a recent girls trip. We each had our own bed. We were able to enjoy the beach and eat in most of the time. The appliances, cookware and utensils are top notch. The blender is the best ever. ( I am thinking about getting one at home.) Made some really wonderful Grasshoppers in that blender! Richard was great to work with--called to make sure everything was okay and gave us a great deal! We were all sad to leave and are already talking about next year. Thank you so much.

This is our favorite vacation spot! We have been to Florida, Mexico, and on cruises for spring break but this place has it all. The condo is extremely nice, right on the beach with heated pools. We love the walking path in the state park across the street and multiple choices of seafood restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing beach vacation this is the place to come. Richard and Susan are wonderful to work with. We are already looking forward to returning next year!

We had a fantastic stay at the condo! Richard was great to work with, replied quickly to any question we had, and even called us after we arrived to make sure that everything was OK and if we needed anything. The condo was perfect for our family of 5, it had everything we needed, plus an amazing view from the balcony. The complex was great! The beach wasn't crowded with people, very relaxing! We can't wait to come back!

This was our third year to rent this property. Every year our stay is even better than the prior year in some way. The owners continuously update and provide every amminity we could possible desire. The condo is beautiful and the views are amazing. We particularly like that the condo has shade in the a.m., so even on warm mornings we can enjoy breakfast on the gulf view balcony. We cannot think of one thing we would change. This year, one week; God willing we will have 2 weeks next year. Thank you to the owners. Take care, Anna & Bill

I have stayed in the smaller unit by same owners and not only are both properrties very wonderful, but Richard and Susan are great to work with. I LOVED this larger unit and the kids LOVED the big TV's! Beautiful views and wonderfully furnished rooms truly make it enjoyable and relaxing. It's no wonder people want to stay here for several months during the winter. Convenietly located to shops and restaraunts and just a walk through the pool area to get to the beach. Being on the top floor is an added bonus! There is nothing to restrict your views. Needless to say we plan on going back any time we can!!!

Disappointing Treatment

Renters beware! While the unit was nicely furnished and the views were great, the owner of the unit did not return the entire security deposit and attacked my and my family's character in a personal e-mail. He claimed we brought too much sand into the unit. I asked for proof/documentation. He provided none. We swept daily, vacuumed twice, and kept the unit completely tidey during our stay. We even did all the dishes and placed all the dirty towels in the laundry room prior to leaving. He stated we did not strip the beds. There is absolutely no way the unit required additional attention after we left (note, the rental fee already includes a cleaning charge). The other disappointment was the number of smokers and early morning drinkers that stayed in the complex. It was a bit annoying and a little embarrasing to explain to my children (who aren't often exposed to this type of behavior).
Owner response:As responsive and responsible owners of a beautiful Gulf front condo, our goal is to always provide our customers with an absolutely great vacation experience and grow our small business with repeat customers and their referrals. On very rare occasions folks have not respected our property and investment. Following this customer's departure I received an e mail and a phone call from the head of housekeeping at Palm Beach Condo and was advised that her housekeepers took 5 1/2 hrs to cleaning our unit and that on a normal day, they can clean 6-7 units, but on this day, they were able to clean our's and only one more. We were advised that substantual sums of sand were in the beds, tubs even the dishwasher. She said that a sand laden bucket was placed in the dishwasher. This resulted in the cleaners having to rewash all the dishes by hand and required the attention of mantenance to clear the sand from the dishwasher. All these points were discussed with the customer and that we were being billed an extra cleaning charge. I was advised that no pictures were taken as the fine white beach sand is something easily felt and not easily photographed. This customer’s security deposit was reduced by $70. As it turned out, it cost us a total of $90 that had to be paid to our dedicated and professional cleaning staff. As far as the allegation of smokers and drinkers disturbing them at the complex, this is our first notice of this and certainly if it was an issue at the time, we employ a security company that is trained to address such issues and can be called directly by customers. There is no evidence they were contacted. We believe we addressed a very serious issue timely, fairly and reasonably. The Owners

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this lovely beach condo. We were so pleased with everything...the views were breathtaking, the condo was comfortable and very well decorated, easy access to the beach and pool area...everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation! This condo is a corner unit and we felt that it was the best location on the property. We loved that this condo is in a low-rise building and its location on Orange Beach is just perfect! Very family-friendly area and not too crowded. The pool area was very well maintained. The owners of this condo are very professional and easy to work with. We will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends!

Great condo with beachfront views! The condo was VERY large and allowed our family of 5 to relax and spread out without feeling confined. Everyone was comfortable in their bedrooms, the beds were similar to what we have in our home, and all rooms were equipped with newer flat screen TV's. The kitchen, family room and dining area were well appointed and allowed us to feel at home. The condo faces the beach and has access to the balcony both from the master BR and family room. This was the perfect place for us to stay and we can't wait to come back! There was some remnants of oil on the beach for 2 of our 5 days, but it did not detract us from enjoying the beach and water. All in all, we would consider the oil we did encounter a non factor.

My family and I had a great time staying at your beach condo. The sounds and scenery was outstanding from the balcony. The condo was very spacious and comfortable for us. This was our first time to stay in the Orange Beach area and we were very impressed with the condo and things to do in the surrounding area of Orange Beach.
