Our home, beautifully landscaped by our gardener with coconut palms, colorful hibiscus and native plants, offers a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. Featuring two bedrooms and a loft, cathedral ceilings in the great room, and a library, the windows covering the entire front give an unobstructed view of the turquoise water and pink sand beach. Our caretakers, Edgar and Doreen, will assure that our home is ready for your visit. Edgar can also arrange for transportation from the airport and for a rental car. Maid service is also available.
Located just one mile from Governor's Harbour, groceries, fishing supplies, and shopping are easily accessible. Governor's Harbour is the center of Eleuthera so you will be able to find anything you will need. Eleuthera, rated by Fodor's Travel Guide as one of the most beautiful of the Bahama islands, is waiting to be explored. You will find quaint villages, where the natives are eager to greet you with a wave and a smile. Talk with the natives and learn all about the island.
There are miles of secluded and deserted pink sand beaches where you can swim and snorkel in the spectacular crystal clear turquoise water, which averages 70 to 80 degrees. Beautiful coral reefs are right off the beaches where you will see many colorful tropical fish. While relaxing on the beaches, bask in the sunlight, feel the refreshing ocean breeze, and watch the gentle waves. Walk the beaches and find that perfect shell.
Eleuthera offers both world class bone fishing and deep sea fishing. For the adventurous there is a quarter mile long cave waiting to be explored. All of this is within one hour of Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Miami, which offers direct flights.

We stayed here for 10 days over Xmas and New Years and had a wonderful time. The house is right on a great beach. The snorkelling is good. There are 2 kayaks at the house to play with. It is a 20-25 minute walk to town so you might want a rental car. The kitchen is well equipped and there were even snorkels and masks in the cupboards and lots of towels provided. The outdoor shower is great and even has hot water.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This was by far the most breathtaking spot on the Island. The water in front of the house was crystal clear. Myself and 4 friends just returned and are ready to turn around and go back. We bought fresh fish and lobster from the fishermen right in front of the house and cooked our meals every night in the well equiped kitchen. Why eat out when you can have dinner with such a great view. We did visit the fish fry and the new Tapas restuarant 3 doors up for our lunch. The food was fantastic. Myself and my friends would all reccommend staying at Mon Soleil. It was the closest vacation to Paradise that we have ever been.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

My girlfriend and I stayed here last February and had a great time. We rode bikes into town often, walked to tippy's resturant for dinner a couple times and snorkeled at the house almost everyday. (we saw some awesome fish!) A great place, you won't have any regrets renting this property and the owners are great.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This is a great location and the setting is breathtaking. Beach is beautiful and hard packed for walking. The ocean was calm the first two days and rough the rest due to a cold front. We didn't get to snorkel here, but went to Rainbow beach and had fun there. The house was very comfortable, had everything you needed and a/c worked great. For any TV people, there were few satelite channels and no major networks. We also missed having highspeed internet. Would definitely come back here, though, for the location and view.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
