First floor condo with a beautiful direct view of the tropical lagoon and beach at Pointe Santo de Sanibel on Sanibel Island. Easy access to the beach along landscaped paved walkways directly from the ground level lanai.
This unit is wheelchair accessible, including a roll-in oversize shower with grab bars and bench. The stunning new master bathroom features spectacular granite countertops and tilework as well as a huge shower with two wall mounted high tech showerheads and a separate hand held shower and large bench seat, offering a luxurious shower experience for the able bodied and mobility impaired alike. The guest bath is also fully upgraded with new granite and tilework and high end fixtures and amenities.
The Master bedroom has large windows offering a direct water view, as well as separate access to the lanai. There is also a separate dressing area, and a king bed as well as a twin sleep sofa for flexible sleeping arrangements. The second bedroom has a twin and a double bed. Both bedrooms feature all new furniture and bedding.
The living and dining rooms have also been recently refurnished and redecorated with all new carpeting and paint, and comfortable tropical furniture throughout the unit. The kitchen has been upgraded with an open floor plan and all new appliances, as well as all the cookware, tableware, cutlery, and kitchen gadgets you could ever need.
You can enjoy the lovely vista of the tropical lagoon, exotic landscaping, sparkling Gulf of Mexico from the entire unit, including the kitchen, living and dining rooms, master bedroom, and the sunny and comfortably furnished lanai. Our condo directly faces the water, not another building, and does not require mirrors to provide spectacular views. Best of all, since we are ground level, you can walk directly from lanai to the beach, pool, hot tub, and grilling areas, bypassing the corridors and elevators.
There are three flat screen TV/DVDs with HD TV cable, and wireless access throughout the property. The full kitchen includes a separate dining table. A full sized washer and dryer are in the unit, and linens are provided. We also provide beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas for guest use.
Sanibel Island offers world class birding and wildlife photography, with the famous drive or bike through Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. There are miles of bicycle trails throughout the island, with readily available bike rentals. There are plenty of restaurants, and for those interested a live theater as well as a cinema on the island close by to Pointe Santo. Sanibel is renowned for its shelling and beautiful white sand beaches.

Our condo is located on one of the best shelling beaches on Sanibel. The West Gulf Drive location is both convenient and quiet. We love the easy access to the beach and pool through the ground level lanai.

Pointe Santo de Sanibel was an ideal spot to spend a relaxing week on fabulous Sanibel Island. My husband and I and 2 of our friends enjoyed our unit very much. The groundskeeping on the property is immaculate. We also found the condo to be very clean, spacious, updated, and well equipped. The ground floor unit has a large eat-in kitchen where we prepared and ate breakfasts. The evening meal was usually enjoyed on the screened-in lanai so we could watch sunsets and enjoy the beautiful view. One night we decided we wanted to make shrimp cocktail so we went down to nearby Bailey's market and purchased fresh shrimp. They steamed it for us at no extra charge. It doesn't get any better than that. But if you want to eat out there are many nearby restaurants where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner...some within walking distance. We spent a lot of time on the beach sunning, playing in the waves, picking out unique seashells, and walking down the beautiful white sand beach. Since we are golfers, we also found a couple of courses to try...one on Sanibel and one in Fort Myers. We even visited a winery in Fort Myers. Be sure to check out the Ding Darling wildlife refuge to see some cool birds and maybe an alligator or two. We definitely found this location to be perfect for our needs in every way. The owner was very helpful answering all our questions about the area and the property. I would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely condo.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
