Kitchen - Rosarito Beach Vacation Home This charming and bargain-priced San Antonio del Mar Mexican Guesthouse, located 10 minutes north of Rosarito Beach, includes a Master Bedroom and Bath with King-Size Bed, Guest Bedroom with twin beds, a ocean-view balcony which is two blocks walking distance to swimming at white, sandy beaches. The island-view house is ideal for families or college students adventure. Many find this a very inexpensive hotel or youth hostel alternative, because they can visit San Diego and the San Diego Zoo which is minutes across the border. Surfing, Fishing, searching for seashells, and Suntans are at a premium. The Rosarito Beach Hotel and Night-Clubs, Dancing, Clubbing, and Discos are minutes away, with Tijuana only 15 minutes away, Puerto Nuevo and Ensenada within 50 minutes drive. European guests are most welcome. Horse-back riding is available at nearby Rosarito Brach. Night-clubs abound, beginning near the Rosarito Beach Hotel (3rd exit off the highway) Shopping is ideal for: fine Mexican handicrafts, porcelain, patio statues and fountains, pottery, ceramics, stained-glass, tile, hand-blown glass, world-famous leather products and clothing, woven textiles like hammocks, ironwork are available in a 300 stall market and on the old highway south of Rosarito. Dining for seafood, steak, and tacos is a pleasurable taste experience at el Nido, La Guerita, Vinces, and a brunch at Ortegas. For a true romantic dining experience overlooking a cliff, breaking waves, and a Colombus sailing ship replica, visit Calafia, 15 minutes south of Rosarito. Award winning international restaurants can be found in Ensenada (Mariscos de Bahia or La Costa Restaurants) and Tijuana (Mr. Fish or Los Arcos Restaurants). Don't miss the fish market, and fish tacos stands in the port of Ensenada. Longer all-day trips are wine-tasting and the Blowhole ocean spout(La Bufadora) both near Ensenada. Surfing and fishing are extremely popular, with scuba-diving available further south. Exercising, jogging, walking on the beach are very exciting, as well as watching the sunset and relaxing after a day of swimming. Firecrackers are limited to Rosarito Beach area. Culture and folklorico dancing are presented every Saturday in the summer at the Rosarito Beach Hotel 10 minutes away, as well as the 20th Century Fox museum next to the bay where the Titanic movie was filmed. After a stay at El Ensueno Guesthouse at San Antonio del Mar, most guests find it difficult to return to realty in this land of enchantment.
