Luxury Family Getaway

My sister and her daughter drove from Calgary and my daughter and I drove from Langley to this awesome lakefront luxury condo on Lake Okanagon for one of the best 10 day vacations we have ever had in BC. The resort and property were exactly (even better) than was shown on the website. The owner and local agent provided us with lots of ideas of what to do during our stay, and made sure we were happy and comfortable. There are ski boat rentals only a few blocks away for a fair price to ski and explore the lake. Lots of wineries and great restaurants and shopping within only a few minutes of the property. We recommend this to anyone who wants to have a quiet getaway in luxury accomodations. We will be back !
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

After much research me and my 6 girlfriends decided to rent this amazing unit at Barona Beach. The owner was extremely helpful from our initial contact and gave us many wonderful dining and activity recommendations for the area. The unit was beautiful, impeccably clean and modern and has the most incredible view of the lake. The balcony was a favorite place for us to eat and have cocktails, especially at sunset. The pictures are exactly what the unit and view look like and it's fully equipped with everything. We had so much fun spending time in the pool, hot tub and sun tanning on the beach and dock. A few of the girls used the gym and were very happy with the facility. We made a reservation for an evening at Mission Hill and would recommend this to anyone renting this unit. We also ate a few times at the golf course and a local sushi restaurant and both were great. We really liked the location as Westbank has everything you need and you don't need to go into Kelowna if you don't want to. We shopped for groceries at Save On and that plaza also had a liquor store, movie rental and Shopper's Drug Mart. Across the road is an amazing meat market called T Bones. They have fresh burgers, steaks, chicken, fish and salads and we loved their fruit pies and gelato! Even though we had 7 girls, we were very comfortable in the unit as it is very large and spacious. There are a few TV's located throughout the unit which was nice and 2 and a half bathrooms which is great for a larger group. If you are interested in renting this unit, I would contact the owner and speak with him personally. I made my decision once I spoke with him because he was so helpful and we are hoping to go again this summer. I hope this review is helpful if you are looking for a great place to stay in this area.
