Hidden Gem for a Quiet Getaway!

My friend and I stayed at this property for 10 days in November, and it was perfect for our needs! It is located right across the street from the beach, yet still secure and private when we preferred to hang by the pool. Very quiet location yet close enough to amenities that you could walk. The condo looked exactly like the pictures and super clean and very well maintainted! It felt like a home away from home. Neighbours are quiet and friendly, and the owner of the property is a great guy, very helpful and aproachable.

Our weather was fabulous. No rain and 21-28 C every single day. Perfect. We found the unit matched the listing description - there were no surprises! Photos are accurate - the property was very clean and tidy. The beds were excellent and the linens were fresh. Really appreciated the t-paper, coffee, ironing board, and blow dryer! The owner was customer focused - we never had to wait long for a response and his replies and recommendations were dead-on. Loved the swimming pool and proximity to Mega store, beach, the Estuary, downtown, buses, car rentals, restaurants. We felt very safe wherever we were. Our favourite restaurants were Shooters (especially the 10 peso Corona and the breeze) and Baja Brewing Co. (try the wings and the blue cheese burger!) To see more of the Estuary take a walk on the sidewalk down past El Presidente Hotel and find the path going off on the left. Take a look at the new Marina - there are some interesting pieces of art along the walkway. Wear good shoes - we did a ton of walking! This was a great vacation and we will certainly be recommending this location to our friends and family.

We stayed in Ken's place earlier this month for 9 nights and could not have been happier. The beach is incredibly close, as is the Mega store for groceries. The place was incredibly well-equipped, and we enjoyed sitting by the pool as well. Definitely recommend to others!

We stayed at this terrific condo for a week in August. Although Mexico was at its hottest, we were comfortably air conditioned in this lovely unit. We were greeted warmly by the Hostess Esther and were given everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is perfect, just across the street from the beautiful beach and a 5 minute walk to the "Mega" store where we stocked up on groceries. There were more restaurants within 15 minutes of us than we could ever visit and for a 2 dollar bus ride, we were off to Cabo and all the sights of the Baja. It was great to return each night from our expeditions and relax in the pool without hundreds of tourists around us, and the heat was forgotten as we slipped into the comfort of a welcoming bed and air conditioned peace & quiet. This is a great condo in a fantastic area with endless sights to see. We recommend it to anyone and with prices like this...we'll be back. Thanks Ken for a unforgettable vacation spot!

This condo is in a very convenient location with a beach just across the street. San Jose is a short walk but more importantly the owner was very co-operative with all our needs. It was well equipped to move in and relax on our first day. These comments were sent to the owner.

Stayed at this condo in Feb 2010. Upon rolling our suitcases into the condo we were welcomed by residents. They were great and told us to come see them should we have any questions/concerns. Condo has everything you need. Mega store very close for the necessities. Downtown a nice 20 min walk away. Our favorite restaurant is on the way to downtown past the cactus garden on your left..The best dinner I ever had ! It was quiet when we were there so no hussle bussle of tourists. The locals were great and we didnt get hounded on the beach like we do in PV. Pool is perfect size. Bed comfortable (very imprtant) and the condo is very clean. Patio is large and has a nice table and chairs.We sat out there every morning and drank our coffee's. We felt safe and secure in this condo. It was nice being from Canada and having Canadian channels on the satelite, we could still watch the news and know what was happening at home. I would recommend this condo to a couple anytime and would definately go back!

This condo is lovely. It is perfectly located across the street from the beach and within walking distance to the Mega Store and town. We felt right at home the minute we arrived!
