This beautiful Lake Norman home sits on the northern end of the lake and is situated 5 mins from the Lowes Corporate headquarters, Lake Norman Regional Hospital and most of the major Nextel Race teams including DEI. We are located 2 miles off of I-77 at exit 33 in Mooresville, and centrally located between I-40 and I-85. Lowes Motor Speedway is about 30 mins away.
Lake Norman is the largest man made lake in the state of North Carolina, and measures 32,500 acres in size and has 520 miles of shore line. Our spacious 5 bedroom home offers great views of the lake and has beautiful sunsets to the West. Our home has a very spacious floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, a fully equipped kitchen, with a breakfest bar that seats 3. The dining room has a table that seats 6, and the large living room has 2 full size sofas and several chairs. For added comfort we have ceiling fans in each of the main floor bedrooms. The bedding configuation is a king in the master bedroom, and queen in the second bedroom and the third bedroom on the main floor. Three of the five bedrooms have TV's. The house has a total of 6 TV's.
The downstairs has 2 bedrooms, one and a half baths, a living room, a wet bar (know as The Flight Deck for our former Piedmont Airlines friends and employees)and a full summer kitchen. From the Bar watch your favorite show or sporting event on the 42 inch Flat Screen TV. In addition to the wet bar we have a parquet floor for dancing and the kids can also use this room as a play room. The bedding arrangement for these bedrooms is a queen bed in the fourth and fifth bedroom. Both the main and lower floors have a fire place.
This home also has a two car garage. The upper level has a sun deck as well as a cover deck with ceiling fan. There is a large professional stainless steel grill, for those great cookouts with the family, and entertaining. The lower portion of the house has a patio, with a swing and chairs for lounging. From this side of the house the sunsets are beautiful and set over the lake. We have installed wireless hi-speed interenet service for your convenience.
On the waterfront we have a pier with swing and a floating dock with a v slip. We have deep water at the piers end. Our beach area on the waterfront is one of only a few naturally sandy beaches on the entire lake. The yard will always be green and lush with the in-ground sprinkler system.
Fine dining is only mintues away and Charlotte is just 30 mins to the South and Winston-Salem 65 mins to the North. For those who like the North Carolina mountains, we are only a 90 minute drive away. We weclome our guest to come and enjoy our home and the lake as much as we do.

Why the Owner Chose Mooresville
The area is the best on Lake Norman. Very close to I-77 and shops in Mooresville, Davidson and Charlotte. Great neighborhood and resturants close by. Major medical hospital within 2 miles.

1. Listed as "very clean.....". I removed cobwebs from the inside and outside of doors and windows. Kitchen windows were very dirty - I cleaned inside and outside. 2. Listed as "2 car garage". A car and wave runner were in the 2 car garage. Unusabe. 3. No TV remote. I purchased a new remote. 4. Kitchen stove was very old and the electric burners were not level. 5. Curtains in Mstr Bd Rm were off the hooks. 6. Sink in lower level bar area was not working. 7. The property used "hand-me-downs" from other rental properties. 8. A good wind would blow over the floating boat dock. From a positive standpoint the location of the property on Lake Norman was what I expected. If I return to Lake Norman it will be at another property- not this one. My general opinion is that the property has NOT been properly maintained for the past ten years. It was probably very nice in the 1980's and 1990's.
Owner response:The house was clean and was in the condition just as it is listed on the website. There was a car and jet skies in the garage that have now been removed (my fault). There was a remote, although it had been reprogramed and did not work. The renter did purchase a new of which I repaid him and now there is a spare remote in case there is a problem again. The stove in the kitchen is just fine and in working order ( did not see unlevel burners ). The curtins in the master bedroom were off the hooks on one end because someone had pulled the curtin open. The 3 hooks were placed back into the holes. The sink at the wet bar is in working order. Someone had turned the water off under the sink for whatever reason, I am unsure of. The furniture on the web-site is exactly as the photos show. There is no misleading here. As for the floating dock, I am at a loss for understading this comment that the dock would blow over. This dock is a floating v-slip with 4 poles on each corner that have been pile driven into the earth by a large machine. Ninety percent of the docks on Lake Norman are installed this way and this dock is not going anywhere. In five years of rentals, this is the first complaint that we have had about the home. This lake home has a laid back life style and character and this should be taken into account whenever you make your choice. This is a lake house and not a penthouse.
