The House was recently remodleed: new kitchen,appliances furniture, beds; two Direct Sat. TVs,..every room has a southern view of the mountain. Two decks: one off the kitchen area and the other a large side porch both large enough for eating outside or hanging with a glass of wine. Situated on 8 acres affords a "forest" feeling with lots of open spaces; privacy with the benefit of wide open views. A hill for kids to slide in the winter and lots of walking along dirt roads. A six person jacuzzi sits on the top floor of the house. Three bathrooms and a sink in 3 bedrooms for guests to get ready without "standing in line" in the AM for bath facilities to become available. Toliets separate from shower facilities! Heat is hot water baseboard-clean and odorless. A fireplace and two wood burning stoves for atmosphere and relaxing. There is also an emergency auto start generator in the event winter or summer storms knock out the electricity.Newly installed High Speed Internet Connection/wireless via HughesNet.
SUMMER: Plenty of hiking trails including the (Long Trail, Adirondack,) and local hikes--top of Bromley, & Mt. Equinox is a beauty for the heart and healthy. Many dirt bike trails available. Great Locatioin for the Manchester Horse Show. Bromley has the "Alpine Slide" for kids and adults. Horse back riding, and almost every sports opportunity in Bondville (where Stratton is located) or nearby.
This home was built by the original family and rented only a few weeks a year. Adult families only. Non-smoking . No Pets. references required.
