Convenient, yet quiet; a place for all seasons. Casual, yet fully equipped. This unique 2 bedroom/2 bath 'lockout' contains both a full kitchen & an efficiency. No pets, no smoking.
Location, location, location: 35 miles from Salt Lake City airport, the lifts, plaza and ice-skating rink at Park City Mountain Resort are across the street; FREE shuttle buses to everywhere (Deer Valley, Canyons, Main Street, malls, Olympic Park, dining, shopping, nightlife, playground, skateboard park, cross-country skiing/golf) stop in front of the complex! A '7-11' is directly behind and other grocery stores are nearby. The library, with weekly films is a couple of blocks away.
Condo provides great mountain views toward Deer Valley from my top-floor location, on the quiet side of the building.
The 'A' side features an open floor plan, with a fully equipped kitchen (large new fridge, electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, service for 8 and all utensils), counter seating plus a large round glass-topped table seating 6. The living room features a gas-burning fireplace, queen sofa-bed, cable color TV, VCR, DVD, CD, radio, books & games and a sliding glass door to the covered patio with table & chairs. In the master bedroom, there's a queen bed, a wall safe, another cable color TV and sliding door to the patio.
The 'B' side (with separate entrance and lockable door to the 'A' side, if privacy is wanted) contains 2 twin beds (which can be made up as a king), an efficiency (fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and service for 2) and a 3rd cable color TV.
Each of the 2 bathrooms have curved curtain rods for lots of elbow space above the tub/shower combination. All linens are provided. There are 3 telephones with FREE local and 800 calls.
Amenities provided by the complex include: heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi, saunas, coin-operated laundry machines, gas grills on the patio, a computer and printer with wi-fi internet access in the lobby (and sometimes in the unit), ski & boot storage room off the lobby, front desk service, ice and vending machines, FREE parking off-street in front and indoor in back.
This is my 2nd home, selected after having skied for more than 50 years, all over the USA & Canada, Austria, France, Switzerland, Argentina & Chile. The ski area in and within a 1-hour drive of Park City are among the very best ski areas in terms of snow quality and quantity, facilities, convenience, variety of terrain, and ambiance.
