Quail Hollow by the Sea. Wide sandy beach only steps away that is family friendly as well as pool onsite for those who just want to relax. Three restaurants within walking distance(Seafood, Italian, Burgers and beverages, one just across the street). Cathedral ceilings make this unit feel very spacious.
Historic St. Augustine and horse drawn carriages a short drive down Scenic A1A Highway. Daytona Beach is 35 minutes and Orlando is close enough for a day trip(if you think you really need to). Flagler College, Marine land, The Alligator Farm, and the St. Augustine Lighthouse all are local. This is a place where you can come and just stay if you do not want to travel. By the way, Starbucks is close by. Our family loves it, we know you will, too. Note- Unit has been updated with new kitchen, bathrooms, and new carpet.

We had a wonderful time at the condo, it was lovely, clean, nice decor, plenty of room, (we were 4 adults), close to the beach, and every amenity was provided. We were there for our son's graduation very close to the University of St Augustine. Owner is very accommodating, we were also very close to a number of activity areas; right on A1A turn left go to Ft Matanza with free ferry, wild life and walking trail, make a right go over the bridge of lions to old St Augustine, shops, nice restaurants. We took advantage of the internet, cable, and balconies! very relaxing, would definitely return !! thanks Rick

Hi Rick and Joy, Thank you so much for opening your lovely beach condo to us, wish we could have stayed longer. Your unit has everything anyone could want and more! And the price is GREAT!!!! We enjoyed the sound system, the games, and the beach chairs, just to name a few. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen has everything any cook could want. You were very helpful giving us information about the area. We did not get to spend much time on the beach (beautiful) because it rained most of the time we were there. It was nice having a washer and dryer in the unit with all the wet swimsuits and clothes. We did use the saltwater pool and loved it. The condo as well as the whole complex was clean and very well maintained. The view from you back deck even tho not a beach veiw is nice, we enjoyed seating out there, the chair are very comfortable. I would recommend this condo to our friend and family. We ate in St. Augustine at Schooner's Seafood House and also at Barnacle Bill's, We enjoyed both places, the food quality, prices and service were all very good. We would eat at them again. Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your beach condo, we hope to come again. Ken and Connie

We stayed here for the second time and we love this place. It is quite and the residents that live there are very friendly. The pool is excellent and the beach access is perfect. We enjoyed our stay while in St. Augustine. Thank you Joy and Rick for renting your condo! You guys are awesome!

Love, Love, Loved this condo ! Very clean , spacious for it's square footage, it felt larger. It has any and everything you could ever need, very well appointed. From the moment I walked in it had a very warm and welcome feel, very homey. With all of the small extra details you can tell the owners understand hospitality!!!! Can't wait for my next visit. Perfect size for a family of four.

Rick and Joy, Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful condo. The condo is so well maintained- the beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean and we felt right at home. The beach is glorious. We live in a land locked state, and to come to this area and have a beach that looks and feels like powdered sugar and the ocean is such a wonderful experience. Rick you were so helpful and answered all of our questions and gave us great tips for restaurants- the Italian restaurant in the A-Frame across the street was delicious. We are already planning a family trip to the area, and we hope we can stay in your condo again- it was perfect. Thank you again- John and Kristi

Just stayed at this property in March 2011. Pictures of the interior are true but unit is small. It is not an ocean or beach view and current construction new door is somewhat of an eyesore and noisy. Quail Hollow Condos are an older property. We found the unit dusty however the owner has several air cleaners throughout the unit. Owner prefers check not credit! I would not stay here again or recommend it to any party with allergies or parties larger than 3 people. It is on a section of the drive on beach which I do not prefer. On a positive note, It is located very close to some good restaurants and St. Augustine.
Owner response:Sorry this person had expectations that were not meet. The renters comments about the View are incorrect . This unit's view stated does meet the criteria put forth by VRBO. I know of no reason for dust but we did have an extremely heavy pollen count this spring. We do not know whether, as some renters do, someone wanted the a natural breeze and opened doors and windows for that effect. We also have the unit cleaned each time with a Rainbow Vaccum Cleaner which is noted for its ability to trap dust particles. We do rent to parties of 6 but our personal preference is 4 people and the unit can easily handle this number(unit is 1024 Sq Feet). Credit cards are accepted, but we agree we prefer check since fees do reduce the amount of return on rentals. Of course we regret anyone not having a great time, but know of no promise not met in our description of the area or property.

My family stayed at this property in July of 2010. We thoroughly enjoyed the accomodations and their close proximity to the beach and pool. Area restaurants were very good an covered a wide variety of tastes and budgets. The owners were very accomodating as were the local people of Crescent Beach. The area had a nice variety of sites to see ranging from the fort and old city of St. Augustine to an alligator farm. We'll definitely visit this property again.
