This is a rustic but sophisticated 1,500+- square foot home in a rustic neighborhood. There are horses nearby, but you are right in the middle of town. We call it our hideaway home.
I own the property next door (about 6.5 acres) and some time in 2012 I am planning on building 24 high-end ALL GREEN homes. It will be a gated community targeted for empty nesters!

Two couples enjoyed a week's vacation in this comfortable home. We had plenty of space to spread out and relax, and we cooked at home several nights. The kitchen was well equipped, but we look forward to the addition of a dishwasher. The location is quiet yet very central. We enjoyed being able to walk to shopping, and being so close to the river trail was great as we did a lot of cycling.
Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed here two years in a row with our three little dogs. We loved this rustic, very cozy house. The minute we walked in we felt at home. The burnt adobe, fountain in the front, brick floors and the large back patio just add to the charm. The location can not be beat. We could walk to Trader Joe's easily and to the St Phillip's Farmer's Market (a must) on Sunday mornings. The Rillito River walk is just a few minutes away where you can walk or bike for miles. It is so close to everything such as restaurants and shopping yet when we arrived "home" you'd never know it. The huge shade trees and landscaping make it wonderfully secluded. The bed is the most comfortable that I have ever slept in! At night lying in bed you can listen to the owls. Did I mention the abundance of humming birds outside the kitchen window? Everything about it makes it a very charming and relaxing place to stay. If you want to be close to everything with peace and quiet and privacy, this little gem of a house is the place to stay.
Recommended for:Age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing.
