We built this lovely ground level condo in 2005 as a place to escape the cold Ohio winters. After enjoying three seasons in the Sarasota area we decided to buy a larger home where we would eventually move permanently. Having been all over Florida we found no better area than the Sarasota/Bradenton community. This condo offers everything needed for a marvelous vacation and winter/fall get-away. It is equipped as it was when we used it: a full kitchen with all small appliances, dish ware, quality cookware, and everything else needed for a comfortable stay. The family room features a flat-screen, high definition TV with surround sound. The small lanai has a wonderful view of a pond teaming with wildlife. The master suite has a digital, wide-screen TV and connections for a lap-top computer. High speed internet via wifi is available at no extra charge. A printer is also provided. We live in the area (about 15 minutes away) so are available to help with any problems that might arise. Please look through the pictures on this site to get a better idea about the layout and amenities in this great condo. The two bedrooms and sleeper sofa sleep 6 comfortably. No pets please.
The 13 unit development where our condo is located is gated (remote operated) and surrounds a heated pool. It is about one mile from grocery shopping and excellent restaurants. We abut Tara Preserve golf course and have a view of the first green. Tara Preserve is a semi-private course and has excellent seasonal rates.

- Lanai: Our lanai is small but we enjoyed eating there and watching the wildlife in the adjoining pond.

Why the Owner Chose Bradenton
We built this condo as a place to escape the awful northern Ohio winters. It wasn't long before we realized that the Sarasota area was the place we wanted to be year around. You just can't beat the theater and other cultural activities available here to say nothing of the great weather, beaches, restaurants, golf courses and everything else.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Our condo is on the first hole of Tara Preserve golf course and within walking distance of very good restaurants and shopping areas. We are about 30 steps from the community pool which serves as the social center for the the Palm Grove community. We are close enough to the beach for easy excursions and there is reasonably priced golf close by.

I'm a retired college professor and, prior to that, a retired school business administrator. My wife is also a retired teacher. We have 4 children between us and 6 grandchildren. We lived in Holland Ohio (near Toledo) for most of our lives before moving to Florida in 2008.
