Enjoy your vacation in our beautiful beachfront condominium located in the gated golf community of La Ventana Del Mar. Completed in 2008, the condo stands apart from others in La Ventana as it is one of just a few that actually faces the beach and ocean. You can barbeque on the patio while enjoying the ocean breeze and the view of a beautiful white-sand beach. We have added special touches that will make your stay luxurious and comfortable; marble floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, separate tub and shower, walk-in closet, high definition TV, and tasteful decorations and art. We vacation here as well, so we wanted all the comforts of home such as cozy beds, nice pillows, and soft towels.
If you like golf like we do, you will be in for a treat. La Ventana has a championship 18-hole course that is challenging, but five different tee boxes make it very fair. Prices are reasonable and include range balls and a cart. Don’t golf, no problem, there are many other things to do. There are tennis courts, and also a beach club with a swimming pool where you can sip a drink, have a bite, and surf the net with free Wi-Fi. We can also provide you with a key to access another pool that is reserved for condo owners only. Google La Ventana Del Mar to learn everything about the resort. Of course, what could be more fun than enjoying all that the Sea of Cortez has to offer? You can walk for miles on sugary white sand that usually seems to feel like your own personal beach. Kayak, sail, boat, or just swim in the beautiful blue-green water. There is also a permanent volley ball net set up on the beach. When the tide is out you can grab a bucket and go “clamming” and steam up a nice dinner. Look for sand dollars on the way, you will see plenty.
Seven miles away is the quaint town of San Felipe where you can enjoy its famous malecon, shops, and restaurants……. just don’t forget to try the delicious fish tacos! South of San Felipe, hot springs meet the ocean and forests of the world’s largest cactus called the giant Cardon tower from the desert. To the west are the spectacular Sierra San Pedro de Martir Mountains that have a 10,000 ft. peak, pine trees, and trout streams. The desert is stark, but so very beautiful. Do an internet search of San Felipe to learn about all the wonderful things to see and do in the area. We are just two hours from the U.S. border! |
