This ranch style lakefront home with level sandy swimming beach is perfect for family fun. Catch a fish off the private pier or 14' V-hull fishing boat with oars. You can request rental of an outboard motor when you make your reservation. Lounge on or leap from the large swim raft. You’ll love the home’s open floor plan and fully equipped kitchen. The dining and family room has a stone fireplace and Dish TV. In addition, there’s a spacious great room, perfect for reading or game playing. Relax and savor the magnificent view of the lake through the expansive windows or while enjoying a meal outside on the large lakeside deck. Picnic table, charcoal grill and fire pit are there for your pleasure.
This home is an excellent getaway for winter, spring, summer and fall retreats. The colors in the fall are exquisite as the home and lake are surrounded by maple, birch and towering pine trees. Play pond hockey, visit the Cranberry Festival or hike the trails of the nearby Nicolet National Forest. In winter, our road connects to the famous “Eagle River 500”, over 500 miles of beautifully groomed snowmobile trails. Cross-country ski, snowshoe, ice fish on the lake or sit by a cozy fire and enjoy the view of a winter wonderland. Our check-in is at 3 pm unless prior arrangements are made. Check-out is by 10:00 am so we can have it neat and tidy - just like you will find it.

Reserve and rent a 15 horse-power motor if you choose for $150/week. We have a private pier and you could also tie up your own boat as well as ours that is included with your rental. Big Bass Resort on the west side of Bass Lake offers boat launchings at certain hours for a fee. Contact them at info@bigbasslakeresort.com to schedule and check fee. Though we don't have air conditioning, it is rarely needed. We have the lake side patio doors and windows as well as a ceiling fan and three portable fans.

Our stay was excellant, the house/cabin was very comfortable with all the amenities. Location was great, within riding minutes of the snowmobile trails, 40 minutes from skiing and seconds away from ice fishing. We did get a little snow one night and found our driveway plowed by the next morning. All in all it was a great comfortable place to stay and are looking forward to returning in the summer.

This is our 2nd year staying at this cottage and we love it! We are planning another trip back next year already. There is plenty of space, the cottage is clean and well cared for and feels very private even though it is less than 10 minutes from Eagle River. The private sandy beach is a huge plus, especially because we have a 2 and 4 year old. They spent the whole week playing on the beach and jumping from the pier. The fishing on the lake is good and we were able to have a little fish fry on our last night as well. We love it!

We would just like to say how much we enjoyed staying in your home. We had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was right there. My family and I rented this cottage for a week and had a great time! We had 6 people, 2 of whom were under 4 years old and this was a perfect rental for them. The sandy beach was great and it was shallow enough for the kids to swim and splash around. The cottage was extremely clean and well cared for and had plenty of room for 6 people. We are considering another rental for next summer. We loved it and would highly recommend it! The lake is very quiet and even though it is located only 5 minutes from Eagle River, you would never know it, it feels very private.

My family and I stayed here in July of 2009 and had a wonderful time! The property is very well maintained, the view of the lake is beautiful and there is nothing like a bonfire on a cool Wisconsin night. The fishing was great and the lake was quiet. Just a short drive from town, we enjoyed several of the local restaurants. We will be staying here again this summer and have been counting down the days since our last stay. I would highly recommend this property to any one considering a summer get away in the Northwoods!

Hi, My sister and I and her teenage kids and friends stayed at ths home over the summer of 2008. It's a beautiful and quaint home. The home overlooks Bass Lake with a huge deck you can sit and watch the sunset or sunrise. If we needed to get a hold of someone to accomodate our needs it was never a problem. The bon fires at night were amazing, so many shooting stars. I would definately recommend this vacation home for couples to families and friends, you won't regret it but cherish i, we sure did!!!

Thank you for a great time!, the house was very clean and comfortable, we couldn't ask for a more perfect place to spend our summer vacation. We had a wonderful time at the cottage in July of 2008! Our children loved the lake and fishing right off of the dock was great for them. The water is so clean and clear. We rented a pontoon and loved taking boat rides right at sunset. Thank you for a wonderful time! We will see you again in July of 2009...we loved it so much we booked it again.
