There are 2 separate 3-story living areas, with 2 full kitchens and 2 master bedroom suites. Living and dining areas on each side are connected via shared deck, sun porch, game room and yard. 7 bedrooms, sleep 13-15 people comfortably. Contemporary style, 4.5 baths, modern appliances and laundry, and hardwood flooring create a clean, comfortable environment. The side-by-side arrangement of this 4000 square foot house maximizes the wonderful views from the second and third floors, while providing a unique combination of private and group gathering areas. Situated on a bluff, the house sits on a half-acre lot, abutting open space, with sweeping views of Good Harbor Beach, Brier Neck and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Good Harbor Beach is within 0.5 mi, an easy 8-9 minute walk. Long Beach is also within a mile. Gloucester's scenic working harbor and downtown are 3 miles away, and the classic New England village of Rockport is 3 miles, making for wonderful biking opportunities.
Summer 2011 rate is $3900/week. Rental rate is for the entire house (both sides together). There is a required $200 cleaning fee per stay.

We had our wedding in Gloucester in early October, 2011. The bride had several family members coming from out of state. Instead of having them get hotel rooms, they just all stayed at this house for the duration of their stay. This house was more than perfect for that. The location was wonderful for all. Quick drives to the towns of Gloucester and Rockport and a quick walk to the gorgeous Good Harbor beach. Everything was so close by. The house itself is huge! Easily accommodates a couple of families with children. The house is quite a maze, and you'll have fun finding your way around it. Two kitchens for cooking big family meals or each families individually. Plenty of bathrooms for getting ready. A huge tub for baths for little ones. And the views from the balcony are breathtaking, you won't want to leave. They even have a pool table/ping pong table, plenty of board games, and a PlayStation3 available for rainy days. And a wonderful grill for those not so rainy days. The owners of the house are very helpful and extremely communicative. I would definitely rent this home again, if only I can find enough people to fill it!

My extended family and I stayed the week and the house was perfect. Very spacious house, nice clean hard wood floors throughout, beautiful views of the beach. We could walk to the beach and everything was very close by (stores, restaurants, Gloucester and Rockport). We started off with a wedding crowd where 15 folks stayed 2 nights and the place was big enough to fit all comfortably with plenty of bathrooms to accommodate getting ready. Then, we spent the week with 12 for a nice vacation -- it really worked for us. Highly recommend it for multi-family vacations.
