My family and I stayed here for the first time and overall it was a great house. The location couldn't be better with the Marsh views and the beach entrance directly across the street. Ample parking and a nice patio area for the kids to play and adults to enjoy the marsh view. Washer and dryer are a plus. This is "fairly" rustic compared to other houses we have stayed but that what we were looking for with kids. The house is clean, quiet and as I said terrific location. The only down side is there is only one bath with a small shower and no air conditioning. So bring extra window fans with extension cords.(July is hot!) I hope to return this year if I can get the time off.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Paul & I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary on June 1st, 2010 and we chose to spend it at our cottage, 'My Tern'. We started coming to Wells Beach before we were married and have been bringing our kids here on family vacations ever since.
Why the Owner Chose Wells Beach:
We've always loved coming here with & without the kids. It had everything, the beautiful long beach, fishing, boating, the jettie, great restaurants, golf, tennis, movies, theatre, even the 'Center' for the teens! Whether Spring, Summer or Fall we would not hesitate to spend our free time here.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
We absolutely love our cottage, 'My Tern'. Mostly because of its location, the view of Wells Harbor, at the end of a dead end street, so it has privacy, yet the beach walk way is right across the street. And we love how the water comes right up to the property during high tide so we can take our kayaks right out from the cottage.
