Our time is almost at an end. The best trip of our lives. The people of Maui have all been so friendly, the tours and trips fun and very informative. The sunrise at Haleakala was beyond description. Yes we had a good time!! Mahalo Dave, Glo, Pam & Jim

I meant to drop a note earlier to let you know what a great time we had in your Maui home. We've been to the Maui Kamaole twice before, but your place was the best. Your condo is slightly larger than most units and the extra windows made it seem so spacious with great additional views. You also did a great job decorating and making sure it was so well equipped. We really felt comfortable; so much so, we didn't leave the condo! We really had a great time!

We just returned home to snowy Calgary....brrrrrrr! The flight home was a bit grueling. We should all sleep well tonight! I wanted to thank you for the use of your spendid condo. It was so nice to have such a wonderful "home away from home" during our stay! It was the perfect home base from which to explore Maui.

Sadly we have to leave on Wednesday. We bought a small boogie board and will leave it here for future guests. Also will leave some good snorkel gear. We have left several new books in your library. We all read tons while here!! We will be renting here for 8 weeks next year from mid October to the end of the first week of December. We are very happy with your place. We loved the wine fridge and is nearly empty for the first time today!! Also the ice maker in the fridge is fantastic!!! We never ran out of ice. All four of us are very sad to go home. Bob and Penny are going home to your climate in Edmonton so it will harder for them. They go home tomorrow. Mahalo to you and your family for allowing us to stay in your wonderful unit in Maui!!

Good morning Patty We are sitting on the front lanai drinking fresh ground and brewed coffee while enjoying the amazing view!! We awoke to the birds which we love. Your Maui home is wonderful and feels like a home not a stuffy hotel. You are to be complimented on your decorating sense. We have never stayed in such a well stocked condo. Usually we were scrounging for glasses but not here!! Also sharp knives what a treat. When we arrived there was a wind warning and cloudy gray sky but this morning is blue. The Ali'i Aloha greeter met us with the keys said there are already whale sightings so we will be on the look out. Maui Kamaole still has such beautiful grounds. I wondered with the economy being down if that might have changed but I see no evidence. I am really looking forward to my sister and her husband arriving on Sunday. Neither has ever been to Hawaii. I am sure they will love it here too! We hope to make this a yearly event!

We have just returned from renting this unit for 10 days and we had the most wonderful time. We usually stay at a different property in South Kihei but it was booked up so we decided to try the Maui Kamaole. We are SO glad that we did! The unit was very comfortable and we really felt at home. The location is fantastic and we loved that it was an end unit with all the extra windows. We got very used to waking up with that ocean view and having breakfast on the great lanai! The unit was clean and well-maintained and having the extra's there (beach towels, cooler, chairs, beach umbrella) was so nice. The grounds of the property are gorgeous & very well maintained with gardeners working every day it seemed! The tropical pool is the closest one to this unit and we spent a lot of time there! So relaxing and just what we needed...wish we were still there! We rented movies almost every night and used the TV/DVD often...so nice to have that big TV for watching movies! The only negative I have to say about the property (not the unit itself) was the BBQs. They are sporatically placed all over the grounds with a few at each pool as well but many are in the parking lots beside the garbage cans! Who wants to BBQ beside a garbage bin? The only day we went to use the BBQs, it took us walking all over the grounds to 5 different ones before we found one with gas! They are nice Weber BBQs but their locations and the fact that they must not check the gas on them regularly made using them disappointing. Patty - you were so helpful in answering all of my questions and your property mgmt company in Maui was fantastic! They were wonderful to deal with - the whole process was very easy. We have been won over by this unit and property! I would (and already have) recommended this unit to our friends & other family and we will definately be back again next year. Mahalo to you Patty for making our time in Maui so wonderful with the use of your home!

Aloha Patty, This is just a Thank You for the rental of your lovely condo. So sorry it has taken so long for me to send this to you. Your condo is very well kept and we loved all the windows that added to the brightness of the unit. We also appreciated the beach chairs and towels. Another bonus was the accessible T.V.'s in each room. That helped when our grandchildren decided to visit. The view was spectacular! We also loved the huge shower and comfortable beds at the end of the day. Both were appreciated very much. The information on the church was also so much appreciated. I think services there were the highlight of my trip, especially on Christmas Eve. Our vacation was great! We look forward to returning one day. Keep us on your list. Hi Patty, I wish we were still in Maui! It's so dull, cold and gray in Seattle. Your condo was perfect! My sister and mom really liked how you had the extra beach items and how you had a fully stocked kitchen. It made it easy for them to cook meals. Plus, your condo was very clean and the beds were comfortable. My family and I had an amazing time in Maui and will definitely be contacting you again the next time we go to Maui. Aloha Patty, The condo was wonderful. We felt very much at home. There were several other groups who rented within this community, and yours was the most impressive (2nd floor with beautiful views, upstairs loft, corner unit). Thank you for having such a well equipped kitchen, which made it easy to have nice meals in between all the eating out. We were happy for the quality linens and big towels as well! The management people were very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Overall, the facilities were incredibly clean, quiet, and well patrolled - the little security car was visibly present each night. I would definitely stay again, and recommend it without hesitation! Thank you for your hospitality, Johnna

I wanted to let you know how nice you place in Maui is. We will definitely recommend it to any of our friends that decide to go to Maui. It is nice to go to a place and have everything just they way you were told it would be, from looking around at some of the other units yours seems to be in one of the best places on the site and close to both pools. Weather could have been a little better however it was much better than at home. The only comment I would have is I would love to go to your place in paradise again!

Hello Patty, We arrived back in Calgary to a bunch of snow. A huge change from Maui! The condo was awesome. Everything was perfect and we had a great time. Aloha and Mahalo! We had a wonderful time. Maui is beautiful. We really felt quite at home in your beautiful condo and for that you should be afraid! We really enjoyed the whole beach experience. We used the blender for the rum concoctions and the cooler to take the above mentioned beverage to our piece of glorious sand. I've always said I wasn't a beach person-WRONG! We did the rafting trip and really enjoyed that too! The drive to Hana was a last minute decision (I think we needed more rum so were in the car anyway- ah the island pace) but we drove a good three quarters of the way. Our time in Maui was very romantic. We found a few restaurants with patios right on the beach with torches etc and excellent food and walking in the town was fun. We drove north past Kaanapali one day onto a road that proved to be a bit more exhilarating than we were looking for but saw some pretty amazing views! Snorkeling was awesome-we did it often. We had a wonderful stay in your condo in Maui. What a lovely second home for you! We enjoyed the scenery, the conveniences, the pools, the beaches and your lovely condo. Hopefully we have left everything in very good condition for you. We can not thank you enough for allowing us to stay in your Kihei home. We really loved our time there. Hope to show you some of the pictures of our experiences. We took in the Marriott Luau, a whale/dolphin/snorkel cruise, drive towards Hana and Lahaina, Mendes Ranch horseback trail ride, and lots of shopping and beaches. What an experience! And how restful!
