This Madison Condo Suite is nestled in the quiet, historical neighborhood of the King William District, just five blocks from downtown San Antonio, the 7th largest city in the US. Walk only two blocks to the River Walk where you can enjoy fine restaurants, shopping and the many other attractions of this unique city. Or, if you prefer, take the Trolley which is just steps away from our front door. Swing two doors down to the Madhatters Teahouse and Cafe' for breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner or a relaxed internet Coffee Break, (rooms available for group meetings). The next day, walk to the San Antonio Mission Trail, around the corner through the beautiful homes and Historic Sites of the area, or rent a bike and enjoy the day. Oh, don't forget to visit Sea World of Texas, It's wonderful for all ages. Our Southtown contains some of the most one-of-a-kind shops, boutiques, art galleries, museums, restaurants and pubs in the city. You might even enjoy a carriage ride into town and back! Regular Events: First Friday Art Walk (first Friday of each month), Thursday movies on The Slab (outdoor movies), Farmers' Market every Saturday. Walk or Trolley to the Convention Center, Tower of the Americas and Alamo Dome.

  • My family of six recently stayed at the Madison Suites in San Antonio. We stayed in three studio suites and couldn't have been more pleased. The suites were well appointed and comfortable with all the modern conveniences that you wouldn't expect to find in a charming and historic building. The mattress and linens were so comfortable...it was truly difficult to get everyone out of bed in the mornings! The kitchenette came in handy as well. The location is terrific! There are so many restaurants, shops and historical houses all within walking distance. The trolley stop is one block away and an easy way to get to the Riverwalk and other downtown destinations. It felt great to leave our car at the Suites and catch the trolley or walk everywhere. We took the the money we would have spent on gas (and paying to park!) and had a wonderful dinner on the Riverwalk. The staff was wonderful...any needs we had were taken care of promptly. I am looking forward to a repeat stay later in the year. If you are looking for a unique and charming place to stay with all the creature comforts, Madison Suites is definitely worth checking into!
