Jasmine Cottage is situated near to the centre of the village, about a three minute walk from the local pub, restaurant, post office, shop, internet café and bus service.

The building is an attractive, 18th century character Cottage with exposed beams, which has been sympathetically modernized and decorated. The Cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps up to six people. It is comfortably furnished, carpeted, and well equipped and in winter it is heated throughout. There is a wood burning fire in the sitting room and a free supply of wood available throughout the year.

To the front of the Cottage is a small walled flower garden and to the rear is a private garden with lawn, shrubs, picnic table, and benches.

Free car parking is available immediately outside at the front of the property.

The Cottage is independently inspected annually by 'Visit Britain' and is currently classified by them as **** (Four Stars).

Steeple Ashton is a very pleasant picturesque village which has frequently won the 'Best Kept Village Competition.' It has an exceptionally large medieval church, a village green, and a host of ancient buildings.

There are many attractive walks around the village and within easy reach are places of interest such as Stonehenge, the City of Bath, Westbury White Horse, Avebury Stone Circle, the City of Salisbury, Wilton House, Westonbirt Arboretum, Bradford on Avon, Cheddar Gorge, the National Trust Village at Lacock, Longleat House and its lion reserves, the prehistoric mound of Silbury Hill, Castle Coombe, Bowood House, Great Chalfield Manor, Stourhead Gardens, and much more...

    • We really enjoyed our stay at Jasmine Cottage. It was a very central place to stay to visit Wiltshire and Southern Wales. The cottage had everything we could require and was very comfortable. The people of the village were very friendly and the local pub provided great food. Would recommend to anyone interested in this style of accommodation.

    • We had a lovely time. The cottage seemed a bit small at first but has great character and after just a bit you realize you have everything you need--and close by. The fire was delightful and we really like the heated beds. The kitchen is well appointed and the laundry machines are very convienient. A perfect base for seeing SW England by car. Would definately come again.

    • Jasmine Cottage is very clean and comfortable. The open fire works brilliantly and the kitchen is well equipped. Four of us had a wonderful weekend. The village of Steeple Ashton is idyllic, and so well located for exploring the area.

    • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jasmine Cottage, it was a delightful contrast to our previously experienced more crowded city accommodation. We enjoyed the village atmosphere and took advantage of the location by exploring the surrounding attractions -Bath, Stonehenge, Avebury, Bradford on Avon etc

    • We had a great time in this lovely cottage. The cottage has all the right facilities to make it extra comfortable: fire place and logs; dishwasher and dryer and enough rooms for some privacy. The location is superb. We went to a lot of places in the short time we stayed there. Bath, Stonehenge, Avebury and Wales. We had a wonderful time and we hope to come back soon. Kind regards, Tim Samshuijzen, Joshua Samshuijzen and Leonie Boers
