This Wonderful Cottage is Set in the Heart of Laguna Village! This Three- Bedroom Home Has a Lot to Offer, Beautiful Hardwood Floors, Stone Fireplace, and Open Beam Ceilings. Enjoy the Peaceful Courtyard and Private Lush Backyard. Walk to the Beach, Summer Park Concerts, and Laguna Village from This Charming Cottage. The home backs up to a canyon, you can hear the frogs at night and the creek when it rains, very private home and comfortable, clean, clean all new everything. Beach chairs, umbrella, towels and beach toys. Games and kid movies,DVD and VCR, Plasma T.V, Bose stereo system. High speed wire-less internet. Brand new play-pen for little ones, with cozy blanket and sheets all new. The kids room is a dream for little one's, they have their own bathroom, my favorite in the house, really cute, with a bath tub, my husband and I re-did all the bathrooms, they are all brand new and very unique. The kids room also has a walking closet, that they love to just play, a few toys in there and they also have their own patio off their bedroom that backs up to the canyon, you can hear at night the frogs, and the jasmine smell. Books for the little one's and games. As you sit and relax in the front Courtyard, the kids can play in the grass area, private courtyard and backyard too. This home is very special, you will enjoy the home as much as we do. The bedroom with the twin beds it's a few steps from main level...master bedroom another few steps. This home is a Tri-level.

We stayed a week in January and we fell in love with this beautiful cottage. It is loaded with charm and character. We loved everything about this home, the neighborhood was also very charming. We felt safe and felt so cozy in this gem of a home. Also, great communication with owners. Laguna Beach is so beautiful in January, no crowds and warm weather.

I was lucky enough to stay here with my two children over Thanksgiving and we had a lovely stay. The property was much larger than I expected and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The beach, cafes and restaurants were a short walk away from the cottage and it is a very peaceful, quiet area in which to stay. The property was clean and well looked after by its owners. My children did not want to leave and I wished that we could have stayed longer...maybe next time!

I am a man of few words, but the owner's description is very accurate. Our stay was excellent and the owner was very diligent in returning emails and calls during the trip. One additional item that would benefit families with young children renting this house that was not mentioned in the listing is that there a great park "Blue Bird Canyon Park" within a three minute walk from the home. I would definitely recommend this location to others and would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed in this lovely beach cottage for a week, and we'll definitely go back. The home is located on a quiet street, just a few blocks or so from the beach. There were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The walk down to Main Beach was definitely do-able, too. When we first arrived at this property and opened the gate to the front yard, the first thing that got our attention was the wonderful smell of jasmine wafting through the air. The next thing we noticed was the lovely patio. We enjoyed sitting there in the evenings listening to music, and taking in the beautiful scenery. Loved the little outdoor lights on the trellis, nice touch, and very pretty at night. The front yard is very nice, and there's plenty of privacy, as there are beautiful trees and shrubs that block out the street view. Bluebird Park is just a short walk (very short walk!) up the street. The neighborhood is nice, and thankfully, our street was very quiet, not busy with cars driving by. The inside of the house is beautiful, too. Very clean. We loved the hardwood floors throughout, and the beautiful tile in the bathrooms. Lots of room in this house, and every room felt comfy and cozy. The downstairs bedroom has beautiful french doors that open up to a nice patio. The backyard is very lush, and backs up to Bluebird Canyon. We dealt with the owners via email, and they were very pleasant, and always very responsive. We sure did hate to leave, but we know we'll be back and we're looking forward to our next visit! Laguna Beach is a great town, and now that we've found this cottage, we won't be staying in hotels anymore.

What a wonderful place for a girls weekend. It rained all three days we were there but nothing dampened our spirits! The house is so cozy and comfortable, with 5 women sharing the house it was so great to be able to have a discussion and be on any of the three levels of the house. The gardens are so wonderful. We love the porch off the family room and the front patio was great for just hanging and drinking our wine. Bakery down the street is really good. We walked down Saturday morning before leaving the cottage and were not disappointed one bit. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cottage with us, we will visit again soon.

We just returned from a perfect August at this wonderful cottage. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, with Bluebird Canyon at the back giving privacy and views of stunning greenery and blooming vines. The bedrooms on three levels give lots of space for each person to have a bath and dressing area. I loved the cozy kitchen, the antique gas stove in perfect condition, the marble countertops giving the kitchen a European feel. We spent lots of time at the table under the flowering arbor on the front patio and filled the bird feeder to attract many beautiful finches to share the yard and fountain with us. The tv room is very comfortable for relaxing, the stereo is great, and the wifi was a real plus. The owners are very responsive to fix any little problem that might arise, and their housekeeper (an added charge for weekly service, but worth it for a month's stay) does a great job of keeping everything neat and clean. Our yellow Lab thought she was in heaven being able to walk with us to the beach in the early mornings, walk to restaurants where she was welcome on the patio at lunch, and just enjoying the openness of the house in the lovely cool weather. As others have mentioned, the ability to walk to the beach, great restaurants, the book store, pastry shops, etc., was terrific. French 75, Sapphire, Avila's El Ranchito , all were wonderful, and a short walk down the hill. Holly-the-dog also walked with us to the supermarket, which if you have to drive is exactly 2 minutes away. Other great restaurants are Sorrento Grill, Las Brisas and Dizz's, all a very short drive. Laguna also has a fabulous Sat. farmers market, which we will really miss. We walked all over the village, and didn't see another house that looked nearly as appealing. Can't wait until next August, which we've already booked! We also were there in April, when all of the flowers were in bloom and were amazing. Thank you to the owners for a most wonderful month!

This charming cottage provided the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting Laguna Beach! Our grandchildren enjoyed the nearby park and we found many interesting places within walking distance. The bedrooms on different levels gave each of us our privacy, and we all enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings! The porch and yard were gorgeous, the neighborhood was quiet, and and we all had little nooks and crannies for privacy when wanting to read or rest. We look forward to staying again on our next visit!! I would highly rcommmend this adorable, cozy home!

Our family had a fabulous three nights/four days in Laguna Beach and everyone absolutely loved how AMAZING this house was! The owners have done a wonderful job maintaining the character of this historic home while bringing in tasteful upgrades and wonderful details. The house is deceptively large, with room to sleep 8, is very clean, well kept and appointed. When we first arrived, I confess I couldn't see the house very well from the street because of a landscaped hedge along the front. However, this turned out to be a big asset as it screened out the street from the front patio. Coming into the front yard you first notice a beautiful fountain and japanese maple then a flower covered trellis over a patio with teak dining table and chairs. Twinkle lights in the trellis creates a magical place in the evening for dinner and gathering. Stepping into the house you arrive in a wonderful living room with stone fireplace, exposed truss ceiling, douglas fir floors and beautiful stained glass accent windows. Double french doors open to the front patio and another set in the adjoining family room open out to a nice deck overlooking the rear yard. From the living room, venturing into each room was like opening a present, each had such character and appeal. Openess, fresh air and natural light are key features to enjoy about the house. The rear yard area has beautiful views out to the lush Bluebird Canyon and off to the coast. This reminded us of places in Hawaii we've been to. The large TV, wifi, and great sound system with Bose speakers were really appreciated (bring cd's) . The kitchen is large and well designed for meal prep and gathering for meals and fun. We cannot say enough about how delightful and restfull the time we spent there was and certainly hope to return again someday soon! Lastly, all the important destinations are easily walkable - beach, coffee places, restaurants, and shops. The owners are delightful people and were available for a couple of questions we had. After staying here, you will not want to leave!
