Cozy Pines is located in Alto, NM and is a great place for that tranquil mountain get away. Surrounded by tall pines and only a 300 yard walk to Alto Lake, makes this location ideal for watching and feeding the wildlife. Enjoy nature from any of the three decks.
A very close distance to the Ski Apache turn off, the quaint shopping area and Ruidoso Downs race track are only ten minutes away.
This two story mountain home comfortably sleeps ten and has all of the amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There are four spacious bedrooms all with cable TV. The three bathrooms includes a beautiful master bath with a separate jacuzzi tub and shower with dual heads. The living/dining/kitchen are open making it ideal for any gathering. It includes a big screen TV with DVD, wood burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and gas grill. The game room has a pool table, electronic dart board and plenty of family board games. We have an internet / dsl connection, so bring your laptop.
For rentals from 5 to 7 days, we can provide a guest pass to the Alto Lakes Country Club where you can enjoy swimming, tennis, fitness center, dining and golf. Call for details.
If your group includes small children, let us know. We have a pack and play, high chair, bed rails and stair gate available for your use.

Our group of ten (4 adults, 6 children) loved our stay here. The home was very clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals and there was plenty of cupboard space. The bedrooms were all roomy and had nice furnishings. We especially liked the one minute drive to Ski Run Road!

We rented this house off the internet, but once I spoke to the owners by phone I knew we had made the right choice. They were very helpfull in answering all our questions! The listing photos accurately reflected the rental's appearance and amenities and some! It was extremely clean and well maintained and I would recomend this property to anyone. It was perfect for our family and grandchildren and we made some beautiful memories that will be cherished forever! It was their very first time to ski and really be around snow so the Winter Park Tubing Park was a perfect place to start and just right across the highway from us, then on to the Ski Apache, 12 miles away. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and we hope to be back soon!!

We had the best mini vacation in this wonderful home. We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The owners have thought of everything--from the linens to the clear written instructions. We rarely ate in a restaurant because we enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Everyone could participate. The living area is open and warm and we spent countless hours there catching up with our friends. The location was great with a lake view. You felt like you were away from it all, yet you could be in town or on one of the numerous golf courses in just a few minutes. Next time, we hope to be able to stay a little longer.

We recently had a family reunion at this wonderful cabin. Ages ranged from mid 70's to 11 years old and all had a wonderful time. From sitting on one of the three decks to exploring the lake and valley below, all had plenty to do. The cabin had everything we needed and the Lewis family made the whole rental process easy. We rented this great cabin in February, 2010. Three couples stayed and we still had room left over. The house was immaculate when we arrived and it was so cozy and well equipped we could have brought a lot less than we did. My three yr. old granddaughter loved it and started calling it home by the second day and cried when we had to leave. She had a whole herd of deer to feed the whole time we were there. The owners are very, very helpful and we hope to stay here many more times. We want to come during the summer and fish in the lake.
