I spent one week staying with my husband at La Carolina condos in May/June 2009. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very peaceful and tranquil. The gardens, pool area and property are well cared for and clean. We really loved the common area with the bbq beside the pool- it was a great place to hang out at night and have dinner and a swim. The condo itself was really nice- nothing fancy but really clean and modern. Linens, towels and all the kitchen dishes and utensils were great- we had no need for anything else. You defintely need a car rental for staying here- the beach is a bit of a hike and the nearest grocery store is quite far. But with a car you have the flexibility to visit the areas that are close by and explore. We loved staying here- it was a convenient spot for us and we will most likely stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.
