You will start unwinding as soon as you enter the front gate. This is the best of both worlds - close enough to the city but just far enough for an escape to the country.
Custom Satterwhite Log Cabin - Spacious 1750 square feet of private accommodations on 10 acres, which is located in remote, gated development of 10 acre tracts.
We own and manage our lake cabins - you will be pleasantly surprised by all of the extras and special touches.
This open floor plan, waterfront home is located just 1 1/2 hours south of Dallas and 2 1/2 hours north of Houston. Saltillo tile flooring spans the great room and kitchen. Nice size bedrooms with recently installed carpet. There is a wall of windows looking out on the lake with great views of the grounds and waterfront.
A fully equipped kitchen with cookware and service for 12 is provided along with seating for 9 at the table and breakfast island.
Outside you will find the entertainment area with over 1300 sq feet of covered patio and decking with comfortable seating and a patio table that seats 6. Take an afternoon nap in the hammock by the water or read a book under the ceiling fans on the deck. The gas grill is just a few steps away for those fabulous outdoor feasts. The stargazing doesn't get any better!

Large 1000 sq ft gamebarn with full bath, sink, refrigerator and Vermont cast iron stove. NEW for 2009 - 22'tournament shuffleboard table - NEW for 2009 - 60 classic video arcade games in vintage PAC-MAN console. Play a game of pool, darts, foosball or cards. Catch the latest sports on the giant screen Mitsubishi HD TV or just sit on the patio and read or play a game of ping pong with the ceiling fans keeping the breeze while you watch your friends and family play a game of horseshoes, washers, tether ball, soccer, football or volleyball.
Located beside the gamebarn is a lighted 40 X 60 arena for the horse riders in your group along with a round pen and pole barn for overnight equestrian accommodations. Great horse trails are just a short drive away.
900 feet of waterfront on the property boasts a 175 ft pier and 3 lighted, covered, boat slips (9 X 22) for watercraft. The 25 X 16 sun deck area is great for fishing or sunbathing.
Deep water boat launch is located a short drive from the property. There is ample parking at the gamebarn for watercraft and trailers.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need to prepare a gourmet meal for you family or that mouth watering burger grilled on the provided gas grill right outside.
Upstairs Master loft bedroom boasts a rustic king log bed, pillow top mattress and either high-count linens or soft jersey sheets. View of the lake from the master bedroom window. Cozy up and read in the overstuffed chair and view the water.
Downstairs bedroom #1 has king size pillow top bed and single bed.
#2 has bunk bed set with two full sized mattresses as well as an extra full size bed.
We provide that special touch for the young ones in your party.
Available for your use is booster seats, high chair, pack & play, as well as board games, dominoes, and extensive DVD library.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful yet rustic. There was no need for us the leave the property once we arrived, because everything we needed was there. We fished, played in the game room, and took a midnight stroll down the dirt road. I will definitely recommend this to friends. Also, it was pleasure to do business with Mary Ellen Stout.

Thanks for letting us stay. We had a great time! The weather was perfect for enjoying the awesome deck and the kids caught 9 catfish and 1 small bass. We sure were grateful for the television as we watched the Olympics together everynight.
