This Large and Beautiful Southern Home in Surry was built in 2000, and is ideally located on 3 acres in a pristine subdivision just minutes away from the most popular vacation cities in Virginia. Enjoy the tourist attractions in Williamsburg and Jamestown, and take a free scenic 20 minute ferry ride back to the solitude and comfort of a real Southern Home, nestled in nature.
The home is 3000 sq ft and currently has 4 locked bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths. One sleep sofa is available and there is room for 2 others if required.
The home features a comfortable family room with gas fireplace, open to a large Florida room and the kitchen and dining areas. And there is also a formal living room with a baby grand piano and a formal dining room.
The kitchen opens to the back deck with a propane gas grill hooked to an underground 1,000 gallon gas tank. No filling bottles required. From the deck, view the trees and beautifully landscaped yard. Go for a hike into the woods and find the creek that leads to the nearby marsh and Gray's Creek. The birdlover will find a variety of bird species to admire.
The yard is adequate for volley ball, croquet and horseshoes. This home is also a fairly safe place to play hide and seek at night. Smell the honeysuckle and watch the rabbits and occasional deer. Bring your soft pellet air guns for a battle.
Bring your boat and launch on the nearby boat ramp, or ask about renting ours. Bring your fishing rods, or ask to borrow some. (We will even throw in the bait).
The home features a 2 car garage. All 4 bedrooms are upstairs and the bonus room over the garage is large enough for several young guests.
We furnish paper and cleaning products and all linens to make your packing less of a burden. You don't have to make the beds. A washer and dryer are available if you need them, we furnish the detergent.

Jun-Aug .. $1000/extended weekend* .. $1800/week for 1-6 persons.
Extended weekend from Friday at 10:00AM till Sunday AT 4:00 pm.
Weeknights (Sun-Thurs) $300/night, weekends $400/night
$50.00 extra for each guest over the qty of 6.
Holidays=$100. extra, Christimas and Thanksgiving = $300. extra
Normal weekly rentals start Saturday at 4:00 PM and end Saturday at 10:00 AM.
All taxes, propane gas and reasonable cleaning fees are included
