  We recently stayed at this property (Aug08) and were impressed not only with the unit but more importantly with the owners. We arrived several days earlier than planned and they went out of their way to find us another great unit in the same complex until our's openned up. They were also helpful and provided us with great tips for eating and sightseeing, and checked-in with us to make sure we didn't need anything. The duplex unit itself is very nice and has all the items you will need (iron, coffee maker, DVD, flat screen TVs, etc...), great accomodations and the pools were excellent for the adults and our 2 year old daughter. If you want a great value and want to deal with friendly and professional owners then this is the unit. The location is great for relaxing and getting away from many of the busy tourist locations, but it is also close (10-15 min) to the rain forest. It's located about 20 minutes from San Juan, so I do recommend renting a car to get around. You will not be disappointed.

  This was a beautiful penthouse. It was large enough to accommodate my party. We ha 4 adults and 2 children. The apartment was clean and everything was neat and organized. The owner, Sheyla, was pleasant to deal with and was very accommodating. Our flight got into SJU at 5am, so we were able to have an early check in. All electronics and appliances were on very good condition, it was really a home away from home. We were able to play mini-golf and enjoy quiet night in the pool.   We have stayed in this condo twice now and it is like our own beach condo in the island. We go to Puerto Rico once a year to visit family and will definitely stay in this condo every tiome we go back. The condo is like brand new and the property where it is is like a beach resort but witout the price tag. It is close to the most beautifull beach (Luquillo Beach), great local food and a short drive to the marvelous Rain Forest. Serious shopping also around the corner. Not too far from Old San Juan and the great night life. If you like to cook, the kitchen is ready for you. The pool is amazing and you can let the kids go to the river pool while you can keep an eye on them from the condo. Perfect for a couple to get away or to take the entire family (10 people can sleep in). Dont be fouled by the price, the owner should be chargin double for this gem. If you stay anywhere else, you will regret it.

  We have traveled all over the world using both Home Away and VRBO. To say this was the worst place would actually be an understatement. Upon arrival we did find the unit to be neat and picked up, however the bare essentials to live for the first night were not there. The third bedroom, which has the two twin beds, was absolutely unbearable as the air conditioning unit did not work. According to the email from the owner, "the air condition is working very well, you change fan not cool. For this reason the air condition not feel cool." If you are basing your rental of this unit by the cover photo that is approximately 1.1 kilometer walk from this "PENTHOUSE BEACH CONDO". Personally we would advise any and all prospective owners NOT TO RENT THIS UNIT. We contacted three different rental agencies via email at approximately 1:25 am and found other lodging the very next morning. We could not get out of the unit soon enough.

  I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PENTHOUSE TO ANYONE! OUR FAMILY ENJOYED VERY MUCH IT WAS SAFE ,CLEAN ,SPACIOUS, AND SURROUNDED BY BEAUTIFUL POOLS IN A PRIVATE QUIET GATED COMMUNITY OUR STAY WAS VERY NICE AND COMFORTABLE THE WEATHER WAS'NT GREAT BECUZ OF THE RAIN AND BEACH WAS'NT VERY PRETTY BUT WE WILL GO AGAIN :) THANKS SHEYLA!

  I stayed at this apartment for a few days to celebrate a friend's birthday and loved it. We had a great time both outside in the pool as well as inside and in the terrace. The place is spacious and fits 8 comfortably. The complex is great both for kids and for adults. Even though I live close by, I felt like I was away on vacation.

  Had a wonderful time at the property. Really clean and comfortable. Had one minor issue with the cable and the owners took care of it right away. They are both very attentive and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Loved the pools! Lots to do!!

  I recently stayed here with my husband and kids we all love the place and will be back again for another vacation. It is all and more. the villa is big and the view is all and more. Everyone there were very nice and helpfull. So if you want to stay at a relaxing and enjoying place this isthe place to stay at.

  we enjoyed our stay, very lovely grounds and pools, the beach was very relaxing, the condo was very clean well maintained we had three teenage girls with us , we felt very safe there, this is a great place to go if looking for relaxation, we would definatly return, the owner was very considerat we were delayed for 8 hours easter sunday she did her best to accomdate us even though it was a holiday, thanks shayla cheryl and phil

  We stayed in this penthouse in September. It was a beautiful penthouse. The owners are so friendly and wonderful hosts. Sheyla met us when we landed in San Juan and gave us the keys and directions to Aquatika. She also offered suggestions on places and things to do. She was very responsive anytime we had a question (whether over email or via telephone). The penthouse was very clean, modern and nicely decorated. It is a two story penthouse with a winding staircase. There is a beautiful and spacious rooftop deck. It has a hose, table, and grill. We ate dinner on the rooftop every night! It was so relaxing and beautiful! The kitchen is modern and there was AC in the bedrooms. We had a great time at the numerous pools on the property. I highly recommend this penthouse for family vacations (of all ages) or for groups of friends. This penthouse has everything that you need for a great and comfortable vacation!!
