Welcome to paradise! Pelican Perch is a large four-bedroom, two-bath house, located at 110 Pelican Drive on a canal and a quiet cul-de-sac at the desirable north end of the island. The roomy and colorful house is in walking distance to white powder-sand beaches, excellent restaurants, and two fishing piers - City Pier and the Rod and Reel.
Upstairs, you’ll find a large living room, a study, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The dining room has double doors that open onto a porch with a seating area that overlooks the private pool and canal. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs- a master suite with a queen bed and 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds.
Downstairs, there is a bedroom with a queen bed and a playroom with a large pull-out couch. Double doors open onto a huge lanai with a lovely heated pool, a large outdoor dining area, numerous lounge chairs, a charcoal grill, and an enclosed outdoor shower. The private dock (with a boat lift and kayak/jet-ski ramp) is a perfect place for fishing or sipping your morning coffee.
The house is fully equipped with all the comforts of home including free wifi, four televisions with cable, a DVD player and even an X-Box with games for the kids. For your beach enjoyment, there is a closet full of towels, chairs, beach toys and a cart.
At the northern tip of the island, there is a magnificent view of Tampa Bay meeting the Gulf of Mexico where you might see dolphins or a manatee swimming by. Evenings are especially beautiful with the soft sound of the birds and breathtaking sunsets. Rent bikes, kayaks, and golf carts (rental companies deliver for free) or take the free trolley and explore the 7-mile long island (the trolley stop is just a short walk from the house).

Recently stayed here w/my bf & some friends and we all can't wait to return! We will definitely stay here again. The location is beyond perfect. We rented bikes and enjoyed exploring the island, but could also walk to the beach because it is so close. Beach towels & chairs for our use; a nice plus and heated pool - fantastic! I enjoyed my morning coffee on the dock overlooking the canal, just breathtaking. We would love to rent a boat next time, since there's a lift there also. The layout (tons of room) and feel of the house is so warm and inviting and had everything we needed for a great vacation! I can't say enough...
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This was our first stay at this property though we've been going to the island for years. The house was spacious (we had 2 couples and 2 kids) and tastefully decorated. We spent most of our time outside either at the beach or on the patio which had a nice pool. The outside shower was great. We didn't even use the car except to get groceries on the first day. My husband fished off the dock. Very clean house -all very pleasant - we will stay here again - thank you.
