Treat yourselves to fireside dining in this spacious resort home, with separate dining in the kitchen nook for the younger set. The large well stocked kitchen features a wall of storage, two refrigerators, prep areas for multiple cooks steps from deck for outdoor grilling and dining. The Great Room with tasteful furnishings and decor reflecting the Oregon high desert has a wall-mounted large LCD flat-screen TV with surround sound. A 2nd covered deck adjoins the great room, a perfect place to eat outdoors and watch the sunset, enjoy a family card game or to simply sit and enjoy a bird's eye view of this wonderful resort. Your many guests will appreciate all of the common area in this home...you won't feel crowded! Wireless hi-speed internet service will allow you to 'stay current' while you relax!
The spacious five (4 masters) bedrooms with a 6th sleeping area offer good separation between sleeping quarters. Two of the master bedrooms are newly completed in very quiet corners of the large home. The bedroom configuration features 2 masters (King, Queen) on the main, two masters downstairs (King & King with 3 twins), and a 5th bedroom down(twin bunks). A family room downstairs serves as a 6th sleeping area with a brand-new queen sleep sofa and large wall-mounted flat-screen TV, adjoining a third covered deck as well as the outdoor hot-tub.
The many windows, 10 foot ceilings upstairs, large and convenient, well-equipped kitchen with two eating areas, wide hallways all add to the wonderful vacation feel of this very attractive Sunriver home. The Duck Pond Lodge is situated on a quiet lane that meanders along the Sun River. The 'river-side' location and mature trees keep the home cool in the summer. The 1/2 acre flat lot offers a circular drive with lots of parking, a basketball court, three decks, and a fleet of 10 bicycles, ping pong, foosball, board games, DVD library, novels, and a 42" new HD flat screen TV.
Unlimited free use of the Sunriver resort pools and tennis courts are included with this lovely rental property. Wireless internet available.

Our extended family stayed here. We had 7 adults and 3 children, and we all had a wonderful time! We went up to mountain on 4 of the 5 days and had a fantastic time skiing! We also took full advantage of "March Madness", cheering at the very exciting NCAA gmes. Today we are leaving forour homes in Portland, Hillsboro, San Ramon, and Oakland. We plan to return yearly for family, fun, and good times on the mountain. Thanks for letting us use this wonderful home. We know that all future guests enjoy it too!

Cinda and Don, A perfect home for a family get-away! There were 16 of us at times and we never felt crowded! The decor is perfect -nice but comfortable. We enjoyed skiing and boarding, sledding, biking, walking, playing games, basketball, and just plain 'hanging out'. Thank you for sharing your lovely home and we hope to be able to return in the summer sometime. PS Your housekeeper is lovely and the home was very clean.

Cinda, We had a terrific week in your home in Sunriver. The layout of the house and the several separate SOCIAL AREAS made a perfect setting for our 8 adults and 9 young people between the ages of 2 and 13. You made great decisions in the additions that you made to the house. It is so livable and well appointed. We made use of all of the bikes. We rafted, horsebacked, kayaked, nature walked, waterfalled and made full use of the ping pong and basketball facilites back at the house. We are considering a 2009 return to Sunriver and would like your thoughts on Duck Pond vs. Ponderosa (#60279) for our 17 people next summer.

Dear Cinda and Don, A quick note to enclose with the key. We had an absolutely wonderful time - all 16 of us agreed your home worked the best of all we've rented in the past 22 years! Bedroom locations were prefect, great kitchen, loved the fireplace opening up into two rooms, teenagers loved having their own space downstairs. All the windows give good light and nice views.
