Duck Pond Lodge is the perfect house for a group gathering. My book group found the large dining table, living room arrangement and many separate living/sleeping areas perfect for us. We could all congregate for discussion or a meal, or find a cozy spot for reading alone. Everything is thoughtfully set up and furnished. We loved the location close to the river, and walked every day. We would love to come back at a time when the weather would allow use of all the wonderful decks!

Don and Cinda, Thank you for accommodating our girls' varsity soccer team! We had a wonderful time and loved your home! The close location to the river and bike path made it easy to get in all the running and biking we planned for the weekend. The girls swept the garage, entry, kitchen and decks. They vacuumed and we got a few loads of laundry finished before our departure. Thank you again for everything. Coach Linda Thank you to this wonderful group of young women. May you have a successful soccer season! Cinda and Don

Duck Pond Lodge was a great place for our group to spend our Memorial Day vacation. We had three couples and five children from ages 9 mos. - 16 yrs. The layout of the residence allowed for our group to gather together, but yet have privacy and different social areas too. The multiple outdoor areas were a treat too. Having the various bikes for everyone to use was great! The owner's were very conciencious of our needs and were accesable for all of our questions. They even made tee times for us because owner's have a four day advantage on the general public! My only suggestion would be to have the BBQ cleaned and ready to go. The grease can was overflowing and the BBQ and the surrounding area needed to be cleaned. As a result, we did this to alleviate a possible fire hazard. Otherwise, everything was perfect for our group. It was a great vacation and we would definitely return to the Duck Pond Lodge. Thanks!

Our extended family stayed here. We had 7 adults and 3 children, and we all had a wonderful time! We went up to mountain on 4 of the 5 days and had a fantastic time skiing! We also took full advantage of "March Madness", cheering at the very exciting NCAA gmes. Today we are leaving forour homes in Portland, Hillsboro, San Ramon, and Oakland. We plan to return yearly for family, fun, and good times on the mountain. Thanks for letting us use this wonderful home. We know that all future guests enjoy it too!

Cinda and Don, A perfect home for a family get-away! There were 16 of us at times and we never felt crowded! The decor is perfect -nice but comfortable. We enjoyed skiing and boarding, sledding, biking, walking, playing games, basketball, and just plain 'hanging out'. Thank you for sharing your lovely home and we hope to be able to return in the summer sometime. PS Your housekeeper is lovely and the home was very clean.

Cinda and Don, We returned to your lovely lodge after spending our first visit here last January. We all love being able to have our own private space after spending the day together. Lovely house. We will return!

Cinda, We had a terrific week in your home in Sunriver. The layout of the house and the several separate SOCIAL AREAS made a perfect setting for our 8 adults and 9 young people between the ages of 2 and 13. You made great decisions in the additions that you made to the house. It is so livable and well appointed. We made use of all of the bikes. We rafted, horsebacked, kayaked, nature walked, waterfalled and made full use of the ping pong and basketball facilites back at the house. We are considering a 2009 return to Sunriver and would like your thoughts on Duck Pond vs. Ponderosa (#60279) for our 17 people next summer.

Dear Don and Cinda, What a lovely home! We had a fun and profitable time with our employees at your Duck Pond home. It was nice to have a large home where we culd meet and enjoy our meals together. The ping pong tournament was fierce, the hot tub was delightful, the beds were very comfortable. A good time was had by all. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will keep your name in our files for future visits.

Don and Cinda, I really enjoyed my stay at the lodge. The home is gorgeous and spacious. The multiple windows allow for a scenic view virtually anywhere in the house. The fly fishing on the Fall River was excellent and with the right presentation any trout could be persuaded to feed from the surface. I suggest parking at the hatchery and walking a few hundred yards upstream (although I did get lost the first time I set out). The Sunriver Fly Shop is very helpful with all the information one needs to get started. I had a great time and look forward to returning soon. Christopher M. Huff Memphis, TN

Dear Don and Cinda, We've been coming to Sunriver 22 years to celebrate Thanksgiving, and this is, by far, the nicest home we've had. The accomodations were perfect for our family of 16. The location of the bedrooms with the private baths was perfect. I loved the big kitchen, especially on Thanksgiving. Loved the fireplace too and ran it constantly - great ambiance. The grand-kids (all teens) spent all their time in the downstairs family room, except for meals and to check on the adults. The only thing missing was snow, but the house was so perfect to spend time in, no one seemed to mind. Thanks so much for sharing! The Utti Family McMinnville, OR

Dear Cinda and Don, A quick note to enclose with the key. We had an absolutely wonderful time - all 16 of us agreed your home worked the best of all we've rented in the past 22 years! Bedroom locations were prefect, great kitchen, loved the fireplace opening up into two rooms, teenagers loved having their own space downstairs. All the windows give good light and nice views. Everything was perfect! If all goes well we would like to stay there next year. Keep us in mind please. Thanks for sharing your home, Mickey & Bev Thanksgiving 2007

Dear Cinda, We appreciate you and Don allowing us to visit your home. What a wonderful house! My 4 children and 2 grandchildren thought it was the best ever. Such a treat to find a well appointed home that can accomodate all of our family. The youngest sister was proposed to yesterdayao it really added to the joy. We would like to rent again next year and will contact you soon. Again, thank you & best wishes, Dee

We had a fantastic time. The house is lovely and handled our large group with ease! Our team and parents actually enjoyed our time in your home and around Sunriver as much, if not more than the actual games 'we' played. Thank you! We hope to visit again. The Stanley Family for the Team
