Brand new home completed in 2007 in Echota on the Ridge! Part of a 250 acre resort and gated community in the beautiful NC Blue Ridge Mountains. Enjoy an extremely spacious 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, three-level floor plan that provides everyone with ample room to relax and enjoy this peaceful haven. The home includes a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and central heat and cooling.
When you’re not taking in the gorgeous profile views of Grandfather Mountain and the surrounding ridges from the huge oversized deck, you can relax and watch TV or a movie on the wide-screen HD ready television, with DVD mounted near the floor to ceiling natural stone gas fireplace.
When you’re recharged, head down to the pool & spa for a refreshing swim in the heated indoor or outdoor pool. The outdoor pool is surrounded by beautiful rock formations and flowing waterfalls.
You can also take a dip in our 5-6 person hot tub off the lower deck with beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain views as a backdrop. If you’d rather work up a sweat, you can use the well-appointed exercise room.
The nearby clubhouse is the perfect spot to enjoy a game of pool or foosball, catch some sports on the big screen TV, or curl up with a book in a cozy chair by the large stone fireplace.
For the fisherman, the resort has several stocked 'catch and release' ponds, guests also have access to 1000' on the nearby Watauga river in Echota's own 25 acre nature conservancy.

Why the Owner Chose Boone
We love the great views from our home and all the the great features of Echota. We are within walking distance to the new clubhouse with a pool table, multiple LCD TV's, fitness center, outdoor pool, and more.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We are less than 10 miles from Blowing Rock, Boone, Banner Elk, Appalachian State University, Grandfather Mountain and most of the area ski resorts. We have a large hot tub on our deck overlooking the mountains.

Our home was named after our youngest son, we call "Little Bear". We use this as a 2nd home and rent it out often since between a 15 year old and a 3 year old we don't make it away as much as we would like!

We stayed for 5 nights with a mix of grandparents, a teenager, a 10-year old, and 2 adults. We had lots of room to spread out. The house is beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, and the views are fantastic. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the comforts of home (coffee maker, blender, microwave, cookware, serveware, etc.). It's located halfway between Boone, Grandfather Mountain and Banner Elk, making it easy to get to any of the activities. The pools in the resort were a big plus for the hot days. The owner is really responsive and great to work with. Fun time for all.

This is such a GREAT mountain house!! My family and I spent the weekend and had a blast. There was plenty of room for all eleven of us.The pictures do not do it justice. The hot tube was wonderful! I will tell everyone about this special place. Thank you for sharing it with us!!!!

we spent 4 days with our children, son in laws and 6 grandchildren, it was a great thanksgiving, we all agreed it was a great home and accomodated us well with the three levels, we always spend thanksgiving together in the mts. our family has grown and this home fit us well. we talked about coming back next year. I have recommended this place to others. we could have used another parking space but we used the parking at the clubhouse. we hope to go back with my sisters and their husbands sometime. thank you .

"Little Bear" was a PERFECT “getaway” spot for 10 college girlfriends to reunite. The townhouse was spectacular and tastefully decorated. We especially enjoyed waking up each morning to a breathtaking view from the porch and the huge windows in the living room. We can't rave enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. It just wasn't long enough. Thanks Eric and family!!

This is a truly beautiful house. We have watched the hawks soaring right outside the windows every day. It is quiet and when the air blows thru the trees you could beleive you are right on the ocean. We will certainly make this stay more than once!

What a beautiful resort home!! Everything perfect and easy - truly a dream weekend. We loved your decor and personal touches. The wireless internet access was a wonderful perk.
