This lovely comfortable house was home for Thanksgiving weekend for our family. Maria had even beautifully set the table for our celebratory dinner on the day we arrived. The house and our "behind the scenes" hostess made our stay in Tucson easy and pleasant. "Pink mountain time" as the sun bounces off the foothills to the north provides a special glow that permeates the house and visitors at sunset. The house is conviently near markets, town, and trails, yet is quiet and has beautiful vistas of Tucson and the hills. The owner's warmth and responsiveness to every need and question as well as the house itself ensure that we would like to return here on the next visit to Tucson.

My husband and I spent 11 days in this vacation rental. Our son and his friend joined us for five of those days. The home and grounds are beautiful. Every amenity we could imagine was provided from household utensils to CDs and videos. We sat in the kitchen and watched quail, hawks, doves, javelina, a bobcat and coyotes pass by. The views of the city and surrounding mountains were always lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the warm and gracious hospitality provided by the owner Maria Courtis. We strongly recommend this property for groups large and small. Linda and Birl Simington

We traveled with our 3 young children and In-Laws for a family wedding in Tucson the first part of November. It will be hard for us to stay in a hotel again. We've been spoiled. We've already begun to plan our next trip. We will be staying at Maria's home everytime we visit. Maria has raised her family here & all the momentos from that life are present. It has great "energy"! Great view - wonderful relaxing atmosphere. We were welcome to use what was there & we left our unused groceries for the next guests. This is great because you already have a lot of the kitchen stocked! It's a wonderful, honest, sharing atmosphere. Thank you Maria!

Our family had a "cousin reunion" at this beautiful home in the Catalina Foothills. The residence, seen in person, far exceeded our expectations an the owner was so very gracious and accommodating. The view from the rear patios was absolutely spectacular. In the morning we had our coffee on the patio and enjoyed the dove, quail, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, and cottontails. On our last morning a Bobcat and a Coyote appeared for our enjoyment! During the evening hours we especially enjoyed cooking on the barbecue and watching the spectacular sunsets. We found the residence to be immaculately clean and everything we needed to enjoy the ambiance was provided. We took day trips to Pima Air Museum, the Desert Museum, DeGrazia Gallery and Tombstone-we enjoyed the re-enactment of the gunfight at OK Corral and had a FUN lunch at Big Nose Kate's. We highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable setting for a get together! We look forward to our next stay! The Reinholz & Schmitt Family

We can't say enough about this beautiful house or it's owner. The pictures on the website don't do the house justice. The view is spectacular - house was just perfect. We travelled from London England and was pleasantly surprised to find soaps, towels, and most necessities already in the home. Because we were with extended family - this house worked out well (multiple sitting rooms / large patio). Easy access to main roads - quiet neighborhood. Fantastic views both day and night. We definately would whole-heartedly recommend this rental to everyone. We can't say enough about how the owner made our stay very welcomed and comfortable. Many THANKS! Michele
