Why the Owner Chose Gulf Beach
As newlyweds in 1979, we rented a lovely little duplex unit on the East End of Sanibel, also know as Old Town Sanibel. For the next 17 years, as our famiy grew, we returned to the same location year after year. When a cottage near our original vacation home was offered for sale, we did not hesitate to buy it. We named our new home away from home "Sea Winds Cottage". Sanibel has many unique areas but we have always loved the nearness of the historic Lighthouse and the quiet and peacefulness of the east end of Sanibel

Our family has vacationed on Sanibel Island since 1979 and in 1996 we were very fortunate to find and purchase a place of our own! Sea Winds Cottage is located in the quaint and quiet Old Town section of Sanibel. Since we are unable to spend all of our time on the island, we are happy to share our cottage with other folks that love the island as much as we do. We think that you will find Sea WInds Cottage a delightful "Home Away From Home".
