This luxury, privately owned condo at Sullivan Stone Lodge is mountain living at its finest! With spectacular vista - kissed windows overlooking 50 miles of The Rocky Mountains, 2 spacious decks and a private heated garage, you'll want to return again and again!
Recently completed, this very clean, spacious, non-smoking, quality furnished executive family condo offers you an enviable on-mountain year round vacation home.
Well appointed throughout with everything you can dream of including hardwood and tile flooring, underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathrooms, a kitchen complete with stainless appliances and all utensils, thoughtfully designed with lots of work space, and a large kitchen bar with 4 stools. The spacious open plan lounge and dining area with large table and 6 chairs makes this a great place for entertaining. The lounge is complimented with a stone gas fireplace and large TV with DVD and surround sound theatre system. There are 2 spacious outside decks, one with a BBQ and the other with your own personal hot tub.
Both the spacious Master and 2nd bedrooms come complete with Queen beds. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. All of the bedrooms have ample closet and storage space along with dressers. One of the leather sofas in the lounge also converts into a very comfortable queen bed making this unit ideal for 4 adults and up to 4 children. Both the master en-suite and main bathroom include bathtubs and showers. A third bathroom is situated on the main living floor. All bedding and linens are provided.
The unique ski in/ski out (also hiking and mountain biking) position of Sullivan Stone Lodge is unmatched anywhere on the Kimberley ski hill. You'll just love the convenience of not needing to use your car even once during your stay!
ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONS:
Kimberley : Kimberley, the 'City of Festivals' - a never-ending celebration of sight and sound. Kimberley's energy emanates from the Platzl, an esplanade punctuated with picturesque shops, hanging baskets and hand-painted fire hydrants.
A forest-trimmed path leads from the Platzl to the aromatically captivating Cominco Gardens. Or enjoy one of the many scenic biking and hiking paths that thread through the Kimberley Nature Park. The Mark Creek Nature Trail leads to Marysville Falls and a 100 foot cascade of water over rocks worn smooth.
The Underground Mining Railway, an authentic mine train offers a transportation link between the resort and the Platzl, and to an Interpretive Centre through a 227 metre (750 ft) underground tunnel.
Summer activities are endless and include:
Golfing : The local golf courses offer an amazing selection of Championship quality courses and are increasingly gaining in popularity for the challenge and also the magnificent scenery they offer. There are over 10 courses to choose from, the furthest just an hours drive away. Local courses include Trickle Creek, Bootleg Gap and Kimberley Golf Course. St Eugene Mission Golf Resort is just a short 20 minute drive.
Hiking : The Purcell Mountains offer some of the best hiking in British Columbia. From day hikes in the Kimberley Nature Park to multi-day adventure hiking in the Purcell and Canadian Rockies, Kimberley offers easy access to an array of hiking trails. Take the quad lift and hike the trails from the top of the ski hill - Musser's Plateau, a local favorite.
Mountain Biking : Kimberley offers an excellent array of mountain biking trails. From the cardio climbs of the 2000 acre Kimberley Nature Park to the steeps and drops of Bootleg Mountain, Kimberley challenges the most avid of mountain bikers. Take your bike up the quad lift for the steeps and stunts of Fisher Trail.
Fishing : There is excellent fishing both in the local St Mary's River as well as endless lakes in the local and surrounding area.
Rafting : Whether you are looking for a leisurely summer float, or an adventurous tale to take home from your summer vacation, the local rafting specialists will have a river rafting experience to meet your expectations.

Our mid-March, 2009 weekend ski trip was absolutely perfect! Not only was the snow and weather ideal, but to 'come home' after enjoying a day of skiing to your beautiful, perfectly located condo was divine! We travel to Kimberly regularly as it is one of our favorite ski and golf destinations; this condo goes to the top of our list of places to stay!

We have stayed at this condo two years in a row and it is wonderful. You can ski right to your door and ski right out to the lift. There is plenty of space and best of all, a room down stairs for the boys (4 boys ages 9 -14) you never hear them. We shared with another family and there was plenty of room for everybody.

The condo has a perfect location at the base of the ski lift. It was great for the older children who were able to ski in, ski out and also for the little ones who wanted to play in the snow and toboggan just outside the door. The condo is very spacious, clean and well outfitted. It was a wonderful place to spend New Year's Eve with family. We would highly recommend this property.

Excellent service by the owner. A truly luxury condo situated on the hill. Able to walk out the back door and ski down to the base of the chair lift. Great outdoor hot tub; which is exactly what one needs at the end of the day.

We have just spent a week at your Sullivan Stone condo in Kimberley. The condo was superb with a spectacular view of the mountain range across the valley. The main floor was a wonderful area for entertaining other members of our extended family who were attending the wedding in Kimberley. We used the kitchen for a few meals and were pleased with the number of cooking pots and pans. The stove and BBQ combination worked great. We will highly recommend your condo to any others we know are venturing to Kimberley. Take care John

Six of us travelled to Kimberley to golf this summer and stayed at this condo....terrific views, great layout, well equipped and very clean. Parking is an issue if you have more than 2 cars, and if there is a party next door you know about it as the speakers are all built into the adjoining walls. I think this condo would work well with two couples rather than 3.
Owner response:We always appreciate feedback and reviews for our property. The condo is certainly ideal for 2 couples or 2 families as the 3rd bedroom is configured with twin beds. Additional parking is available at the entrance to the condo complex or also in the main ski / resort parking area. The theatre surround sound and stereo speakers are all free standing and not integrated into the walls. A condo bylaw exists restricting loud noise after 10pm and a security service will respond to any issues re noise.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

My family of 4, recently came back from a fabulous trip at this amazing condo ( with another family of 4). I highly recommend renting this unit. It is extremely spacious, clean, luxurious and has an air of romance built in while watching the stars from your own hottub on the upper floor. The pictures you see are amazing, yet the real thing is even better if you can imagine! The pictures do not do the condo justice. We will be back again for sure.

The unit was exactly as described, ski in/ski out. Fanstastic location on the hill for skiing half days or full days, pop back in the condo for lunch even. The skiing and weather were perfect when we were there, great set up!
