  mango Tango is a great location to relax, listen to waves, watch beautiful sun rises and maybe see a whale. the location is minutes from the Old Stonehouse restaurant (highly recommned for adults- not children), golf course, Magan's Beach and a rugged hiking trail in Magan's Beach (not for the weak of heart). Mango Tango is clean, with outdoor shower for a new experience and great decks with a secert get away area under the large rock - very peaceful. Note recommended for younger children. Always felt safe, no issues in the area re vandalism. Lots of hills for power walk in the morning! Finally, recommend a day trip to St. John island to Trunk Bay Beach - excellent for underwater adventure.

  Simple word to use for this home is WOW! I must say the owners nailed it we stayed for 2 weeks and I wish i was still there. Be prepared to have yoru mouth open in aw of the views you will experince! The loaction is perfect. The pictures on here are amazing but wait till you get there. I could go on forever and ever if you want the island experince and the luxury stay here! We are well travelled and do not like to go to the same place twice but we will be back here.

  My family just returned from Mango Tango with and I was not dissapointed. The villa is very private and very well maintained.The views from every room are incredible. The villa furnishings are like new and of quality. We felt like guest in a well cared for home and not housed in a worn out rental unit. Driving to the villa is somewhat tricky, but the drive is worth it because from what I saw on the island the villa is located in the nicest and most secure area. You have only a 5 minute drive to Magens Bay which was our favorite of the 6 or 7 beaches we visited on St Thomas and St John. Someday we hope to return.

  Mango Tango was everything it was described to be. The house was well maintained and very clean. It was beautiful and definitely had the wow factor. There was nothing we needed that we didn't have. Liz and Paul answered every and any question we had and very promptly. Paul gave us great info about the island before we even got there, places to go and things to do. He was very helpful telling us how to get to some places we would have NEVER found on our own. We found plenty to do with our 2 teenage boys. We went on a charter fishing trip. We took the ferry to St John and did some snorkeling. (If we had more time I would have done another day of this). Of course Magans Bay is gorgeous. We just didn't want to waste a minute of our time, so our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! I recommend having Gene do your grocery shopping ahead of time. It was well worth the extra money to not have to grocery shop when you first get there. We were able to walk in, open a cold beer, sit down on the deck and enjoy the gorgeous view when we arrived. Mango Tango and St Thomas was a wonderful experience. We made some great memories!

  We were in awe when we first arrived. Good thing my husband had two knee operations last year, so the stairs were not an issue. Our kids arrived the day after we did and we loved to see their expression when they first walked through the gate. The view was breath taking. We all loved it. The first night we got there, my husband woke up in the middle of the night, there was a full moon and it was shining over the islands and the water. He went out onto the deck and said it was one of those moments you experience just a few times in your life! Quite a memory. The house was perfect for our family, the bedrooms were ideal as well as the layout of the house. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The various grocery stores we went to were quite interesting, but found the "Gourmet Market" (I think that was the name of it) over by the cruise ships was more of what we were used to. The price of Rum was great, my husband made some really good frozen Pina Coladas! We will certainly recommend your home to anyone we know that is planning a visit to St. Thomas! Thank you.

  Our family has returned from a perfect vacation. Staying at Mango Tango made it all possible. It is everything everyone says it is and more. The views were awe inspiring, impeccably clean and beautifully furnished, solitude if you desired, and only five minutes from Meagens Bay. Our days were full and our nights were spent at Mango Tango relaxing and reminising about our adventures. All information received from Liz and her property manager Gena made it so easy to enjoy our time in St Thomas. This is so much better than cruising and a big part of that was being able to come "home" every evening to relax for the next day. Thanks again, The Janisch's.

  This is a beautiful home in a private and lush garden setting. It's so well-equipped and the setting is so divine that we went out for dinner only once in our 7 days, perfectly content to cook leisurely in the complete kitchen and then sit out on the wrap-around deck overlooking the ocean and the islands, while the pelicans soared overhead. The pool is lovely. And even if it rains, sitting out in the well-protected rock grotto is an attractive option. We'll be back!

  If you are looking for the most amazing rental property in St. Thomas,look no further. Mango Tango is breathtaking. My husband and I traveled from Orange County, California to St Thomas in January. After researching the island of St. Thomas and the numerous rental properties we picked Mango Tango. As all the reviews say the pictures do not do the property justice. As soon as you walk through the front door your senses are overtaken with the smell of salt hair and vision of the crystal blue ocean surrounding you. The home was extremely clean and well taken care of. Every room has a breathtaking view that you can't stop looking at. The pool and grotto area were one of our favorite places to sit back and relax. The home is located in a great area close to Magens Bay, amazing restaurants, and shopping for everyone. The owners of the property couldn't have been more helpful. They recommended two amazing restaurants. The first is the Old Stone Farmhouse. Never before had we had such an unique array of food to choose from. The second was Thirteen, you have to try the bacon brownie. There is no doubt that we will be making this our permanent vacation spot. We have found paradise and can't wait to go back later this year.

  We had a great time at Mango Tango. The house was immaculate and well appointed with beach towels, snorkeling gear, games and beach toys. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything that you could need. The views from the deck, which extended all the way across the back of the house were spectacular. Just a great place to relax.   We stayed at this lovely house in Peterborg between Christmas and the new year. It was just my husband and I but it would be perfect for more guests. We have stayed in multi million dollar hotels and homes around the world and this master bedroom is our favorite of all. Imagine the sound of endless crashing waves and ocean views from the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. Many nights we stayed home and relaxed in bed listening to the ocean. The kitchen had all of the amenities you would need to cook all meals. The grotto was beautiful and the entrance into the villa is breathtaking. It's like your in your own private jungle as you walk down the steps to the villa. The house is private but close enough to downtown and Redhook via car. We traveled to Magen's Bay, St John, and the BVI's easily. Our favorite place to eat was a locals coffee/ cafe called Barefoot Buddha. Lots of healthy choices to pick from and great advice on where to go from the employees. We have "seen the light " and will be returning to St Thomas and to this villa again! Peace, Christa & Steve
