Why the Owner Chose Healdsburg
When we bought our run down farm property and sold our lovely home nearby, our children thought we lost our minds. Now they "get it" and say we had vision. We knew we could add charm to the compound of homes on the property, live in one and rent the other 3 to visitors. And, we had 20 acres of empty land that became our vineyard. We added landscaping and our wine country dreams came true. It is gorgeous, a prime location just a 4 minute drive to town...and truly a wonderful place for us to live and people to visit. Many do not want to leave because they fall in love with Healdsburg. We did!
The Unique Benefits at this Charming Private Cottage
Location is everything when you are on vacation. Having wonderful restaurants, shops, and 80+ wineries all closeby makes for plenty of things to enjoy. Plus the Russian River is an 1/2 mile away -- the swim beach and canoe trips add fun to summertime. Healdsburg is a friendly town for everyone to enjoy. Don't miss the Tuesday night free concerts in the Plaza in summertime. Great golf is nearby--we like the public course in Windsor + others in the area. Great weather & lots to do makes this a great place to live and visit. When we travel, return home and step inside the gate we always say "Wow...we get to live HERE!" Thankfully, there's Healdsburg.

We sell grapes to Rodney Strong and Ledson wineries & make some family zin. Barbara gave seminars for K-6 teachers nationally and developed over 100 products for educational publishers.
