LUXURY VACATION RENTAL IN THE HEART OF SOLANA'S BEACH FRONT COMMUNITY. Remainder of January 2011 only $750 to $950 per week!! Architect renovated and decorated featuring photographs of local points of interest, our condominium features contemporary furnishings and appliances, designed with black granite counters cherrywood cabinetry, and black slate tile in our fully equipped kitchen. The adjacent open-plan living space features maple flooring and is equipped with all amenities: large screen cable TV and DVD player, in-unit wireless internet access, local telephone to make your exotic vacation complete. Through the double glass sliding doors is a private patio with BBQ for entertaining.
The master bedroom, with king bed and marble bathroom also has cable TV with DVD. Both bedrooms feature contemporary furnishings and linens, with upgraded baths, generous closets and storage, and a small deck. Secure underground parking for two cars is included.
Solana Beach is San Diego’s best kept vacation secret, a far cry from the beach-party districts of Mission and Ocean Beaches. This quiet family-oriented complex, lined with pines is just the place for that well-earned getaway. Swim, boogie-board or simply relax and soak up the rays on our private-access beach, or if you prefer, read a book by the pool, soak in the Jacuzzi, or warm in the sauna. It’s up to you!
Walk to downtown Solana Beach’s award winning restaurants and unique shops, the Del Mar Race Track and Fairgrounds. There’s easy freeway access, and you are literally minutes from San Diego’s world-renowned Zoo and Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Legoland, Old Town, and the Gas Lamp district restaurants and shops, and much more.

Don't stay here. The property is not as advertised, no internet or TV when we arrived. Now we find out that the manager ran off with the money and the owner is refusing to return our security deposit. The condo is well-located although on a busy and somewhat noisy street. It's about a 3 block walk to the bluffs overlooking the ocean. It's reasonably clean but very well worn and has not been re-modeled since 1998. A number of appliances and the central heating were not working properly. The fireplace listed in the property description was non-functional. Thee were lots of good restaurants and public beaches within easy walking distance. The pool and Jacuzzi were very nice and conveniently located. It is "dog friendly" but there is no real dog yard adjacent to the unit. There is a wonderful dog beach in Del Mar which is only a 5 minute drive, The condo has a property manager who was generally helpful in dealing with most of our concerns but too many things did not get fixed. We would recommend questioning him closely about what improvements have been made before renting this unit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners.
