Our families had the opportunity to stay at the Matush cottage this past weekend. We have rented several places every year in Oct for fall fun and horseback riding since my college age sons were 2 and 4 years old. The Matush Cottage is Absolutely the best. The photos and description do not give full justice to this beautiful property! Very clean and comfortable, and I can't say enough about the lake, the beautiful scenery and early morning canoeing. Susie was wonderful about getting back to me, answering my questions and making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We truly can not wait to visit again!

LOVE THIS HOUSE!!!! Our family has vacationed here for the third time this summer and it gets better every time we arrive. We have officially made this a minimum of a yearly (hoping for twice a year) trip. From the spectacular view from every window to the spacious layout to the great fishing, boating and tubing in an unbelievably clean lake! Did I mention the great area for fires and roasting marshmallows in the evening. Between our two families that come up yearly we cover ages 2 - 55 (teenagers too) and everyone has a great time! Can't wait to come back

We celebrated my parents' 40th Wedding Anniversary here and had a great time. It has much more space than the pictures show both indoors and out. The house had everything you needed for the comforts of home, yet with a up north cabin feel. The deck is great for hanging out, grilling and watching the sunset. There is also a large shaded grassy area that has a nice breeze if the sun gets too hot on the deck or front lawn. The family (Susie) was great to deal with as well, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great experience. Very responsive and interested in making sure we had a pleasant experience.

Wow! We had a great time. Nice spacious rooms. Great views of the lake. Had a blast at the fire pit with Aunt Jan singing with her guitar. Woke up to sparkling water and relaxed in the eve with beautiful sunsets. We will for sure be back.

Great waterfront location on Powers Lake. Property was a great spot for outdoor games and the grounds excellent for that family picture. Large living room for all the family to relax and socialize in. Close to good golf courses in Geneva and local course (Nippersink). Will definetly consider coming back

We had a fantastic time in this house. We've rented 4 summers in a row at various places in Southeastern WI, but feel this property is the best of the lot. Very spacious and comfortable, great view, nice yard and pier. Kitchen works very well for fixing meals and easy clean up. Swimming is great for the kids, shallow entry and gravel bottom. The canoe got a lot of use for exploring, enjoying the calm early morning water, and fishing as well. Paddle out to the 2nd buoy up the shoreline to catch some Northern Pike! Lower level is great for kids and swimmers with access to the back yard, pier and water and equipped with changing rooms and showers. We loved it and we'll be back.

I rented this home for my family and brought Grandma too. It was one of the better places we have rented over the past 10 years. It was Quiet, Clean and Comfortable. Great Pier for fishing or just skipping rocks. Great shallow water for the kids to splash in. And they provide a cute little canoe for short rides with the kids. The deck overlooks the yard and waterfront and is a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the kids within steps of the deck. Note: Make sure to bring your own worms for fishing bait. The nearest bait shop is 15 minutes away :) This is the PERFECT place for an unpretentious family with kids under 10.

This is a great house to rent. It was very clean and spacious. The furnishings were very comfortable, we felt right at home. The sunsets were beautiful and the lake access was great. We really enjoyed the use of the canoe. I would definitely rent this house again.
