A Custom Designed Tybee Island, GA Beach Home (Savannah, Georgia). 4 full Bedroom / 4.25 Baths, with a Den, 2 sleeper sofas & a Loft high atop the tree line. We are only a 2 block walk to the pier, the beach & Atlantic ocean (including the 2 surf breaks), and one block to bars, cafes, restaurants and "downtown" Tybee.
An exquisite architecturally custom home at 1507 Second Avenue on beautiful Tybee Island, Georgia just 15 minutes from downtown Historic Savannah, Whitemarsh island, Skidaway island, that is only one hour from Hilton Head Island, SC and St Simons Island, GA.
This 5 bedroom home sleeps 3-4 adult couples & 6-8 children, is designed for socializing, and also features a 4th floor cupola loft with a futon sleeper & featuring a 20+ foot balcony overlooking the first floor and grand foyer below. Two bedrooms also feature interior Brazilian Cherry balconettes which also overlook the grand foyer also all Brazilian cherry.
The "floating staircase" spirals from the ground/parking/& pool level below all the way up through all 3 main levels where a Ship's Ladder takes you up to the loft. Marsh views and just a touch of ocean can be seen from this children's OR adult's playroom up top. (well, at least in the winter when the trees aren't so full)
All open format. High-end kitchen, Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, with slate & stone showers and floors make this not a beach rental, but a comfortable custom home not to be taken lightly.
Though we allow children this home was designed for adults and for entertaining. We reserve the right to deny rental requests and keep deposits for any reason whatsoever. Think twice about renting this home if you feel you will not be responsible for everything in it or a welcome neighbor to our gracious neighbors. Thank you.

- Garage: 2 car parking under the home with private entrance. SUV's do Not fit underneath
- Covered Parking: Only 2 fit in the garage; 3 in drive & 1 out front
- Off Street Parking: We have a gravel half-circle pull-in for one larger vehicle at the street.

- King Bed: The King Master #1 sits high above the pool up in the trees like a private air conditioned fort.
- Queen Bed: Master #3 is on main level between front foyer & kitchen, perfect for those who like fewer stairs or who stay up later.
- Double Bed: The Master #2 faces East for bright early morning sunrises & has the Slate tile shower. Only a double size, but luxurious to say the least.
- Bunk Bed: Both bunk beds sleep 3 children or the double size bottom mattresses can sleep 2 adults with a 3rd person above.
- Convertible Bed: Both sofas in the home pull out for extra sleeping making it 18 total with the futon in the loft. However, 8 adults max & 6-8 children would be the maximum for most comfortable fit.

- Beach View: Since Our home is on the southern end of the island right in the middle, it is just two blocks to the Atlantic beach and 3 blocks to the back beaches & river. Actual views of those waters are only from the Loft up top. The beauty is being up in this "tree-fort" on a quiet street, yet only a short 2 block walk to water & restaurants. Nowhere else on the island can you be so centrally located within a walk to the pier, the shops, the bars, cafes, and restaurants on both sides of the island. nowhere.

- Pet Friendly: With a tiny fenced yard & gated balcony SMALL PETS ONLY should be ok, but it gets VERY very hot here in the summer. Please remember that. We cannot be responsible for the lost life of a loved one brought on vacation.
- Smoking Not Allowed: This is our one and only beach home, and when you see it you will agree it is a HOME. Thank you for not smoking in it. We welcome everyone back who treats it as a nice home.

- It is a known fact that Tybee has 3 surf breaks that can work well during the right swells (normally the 2 hours prior to high tide), and we are just a two block walk to 2 of them. We prefer not to spell our where here, but if you like to surf, please ask us where to find the boards & the surf breaks. surf's up.

Why the Owner Chose Tybee Island
We actually built this home ourselves just last year. It was designed by our own Gary Sanders of http://CiphersDesign.com who has done work for Sandra Bullock among other noted island residents, and we've thoroughly enjoyed it because of just what I mentioned above: the proximity to downtown, the beach (both the Atlantic side AND the sunset side), the pier, fishing, para-sailing, and all the restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops and music venues.
The Unique Benefits at this Beach Home
I don't think it gets more unique than this massive floating staircase with 30 foot ceilings. Our black bottom pool with jets seems to be a favorite also.
