Designed by an architect to be his private home, this estate-like beachside property is perfect for large groups, weddings or corporate getaways. The "Forgotten Coast" is considered by many to be the last of "Old Florida". We have no high rise condos, amusement parks, red lights or fast food restaurants. Just beautiful views, wildlife and water activities of all types.
The area is world famous for its birding and migrating butterflies.
Sand Castle is located across the street from popular Carrabelle Beach and has unobstructed views of the ocean and beautiful barrier islands. All three levels have wrap around porches with rocking chairs and areas for outside dining. The top floor "Crow's Nest" offers some of the most spectacular views in Franklin County and superb dolphin watching.
This one acre estate featuring a gazebo, koi pond and an abundance of fruit trees and tropical vegetation offers plenty of room for multiple cars, boats and other recreational "toys".
We are located just a three block walk down the beach to the newly renovated Lighthouse Park and only a 20 minute drive into historic Apalachicola for shopping and fine dining. The quaint village of Carrabelle and its deep water marinas and casual seafood restaurants are only a mile away.
We hope you make Sand Castle your home away from home. Kids love to feed the koi in the fish pond and memories are made while rocking the breezy evenings away under the Forgotten Coast's amazing star filled skies.
In house chef, catering and off-shore fishing or sailing trips can be arranged upon request.

Apr 01-Oct 15 .. $1000/3 night weekend .. $1600/week .. $4000/month.
Oct 15-Mar 30 .. $ 800/3 night weekend .. $1400/week .. $3500/month.
Rates include linens & cleaning fee but not the 9% sales tax.
We do require a 20% deposit upon booking with balance due 2 weeks before Check-In.
Additional Non-Refundable $100 Deposit for pet.
A $250 damage fee can be assessed if damage occurs.
