This property is one of a kind. Built by a Sea Captain in 1917, later owned by a school teacher and prominent local figure who raised her family of 10 children here until it was purchased by the current owners, who remodeled in 1990, retaining much of the original charm while at the same time expanding the feeling of space and light. There are ocean views from each of two upstairs decks; perfect places to enjoy a cool drink at sunset or a candlelit dinner. Very romantic. House is suited for a couple although one or two guests could stay over. This home is not suited for younger children. Smoking would have to be outside.The house is two blocks from shopping and dining opportunities and three blocks from the Pacific Ocean. The property is located within 10 to 15 miles of Downtown San Diego Harbor front, San Diego Padres Baseball, San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, San Diego Chargers Football, and San Diego Airport. Too many dining and shopping opportunities to mention. Boating and fishing facilities also located with 5-10 miles. We really believe that this is paradise and you are invited to share.
