The moment you walk into this newly built and furnished 5 bedroom Vanderhorst Plantation home with the prestigious Bufflehead Drive address you know your dream vacation has begun. Comfortable and stylish, this home is ideally suited to make memorable family moments together. It is also a great place to stay during your annual golf trip to Kiawah. The private heated pool and two sundecks are ideal for kicking back after the beach, golf, or tennis. The 10 minute walk to the beach makes this the ideal spot for as your home away from home on Kiawah. Use the outdoor shower after a wonderful beach day to clean off before coming inside and relaxing in your dream home at the beach! Enjoy the beautiful breeze as you relax in the screened in porch reading a novel or playing board just kicking back and soaking it all in.The first floor has the main living room with hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, lots of comfortable seating, large flat screen TV and access to the deck with gas grill and private pool. Off of the living area is the dining area creating an open feel. The gourmet kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and hardwood floors has everything you will need for preparing your vacation meals.The first of two master suites is also located downstairs with king size bed, TV, private bathroom with separate shower and tub, and access to the deck and pool. Four more bedrooms and an additional living area are located upstairs. The second master suite has a king size bed,TV, private bathroom with separate shower and tub, and access to the screen porch and deck with lagoon views. The third bedroom has a queen size bed with TV and a private bathroom. Another queen bedroom with TV and deck access shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with a bedroom with two twin beds and deck access. The second floor den provides another gathering place for family and friends and a sleeper sofa which allows for extra sleeping space. The washer and dryer are new as well and conveniently located.Rates may change prior to booking and do not include fees and taxes.A non-refundable damage fee of $45 will be added to all reservations.

I've been coming to Kiawah for about 30 years, and this is my favorite house yet. We traveled with our two small children and two sets of grandparents, and the layout and furnishings were perfect for us. This is the rare instance where the house was actually nicer than it appears from the pictures and description. The little sitting area upstairs was great for keeping the kids upstairs while the grandparents tried to sleep in a bit downstairs (note to owners that a TV in this area would be perfect!). The 10 minute or so (with little legs) walk to the beach was a very pleasant stroll across the lagoon or a 3-4 minute bike ride. We played in the pool every afternoon. The only tiny drawback was that there wasn't enough seating for all six adults to sit comfortably together in the living room, but with two little kids there wasn't much sitting anyway. Overall, a fantastic house. We're already planning our next stay!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. The pool was delightful, and the elevator was wonderful, especially since we were traveling with my 95 year old mother. The home is far more spacious than it appears in the photographs, and the outdoor shower was great. We hope to return again next year. The house was in pristine conditions as were the furnishingsRecommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers.
