Christmas Week 2009 rental is from the afternoon of Sunday, Dec 20 to the afternoon of Sunday, Dec 27. The cost for the week is $1200 (not including refundable security deposit and cleaning fee) and extra days are available before Dec 20 for $190 each. Extra days after Dec 27 are not possible.
New Year's Week 2009/2010 rental is from the afternoon of Sunday, Dec 27 to the afternoon of Sunday, Jan 3. The cost for the week is $1200 (not including refundable security deposit and cleaning fee). Extra days are available after Jan 3 for $190 each and extra days before Dec 27 are not possible.
President's Day Weekend and MLK Weekend require a 3-night minimum rental. Cost for these holiday weekends is $570 each and extra days are possible.

Year Purchased: 2005
We are a young couple who decided to buy a cabin in the Sierra rather than an much-too-expensive home in the Bay Area. We chose the name Pondering Pines Cabin because of the two towering Ponderosa Pine trees on the property. Our cabin has been a very special place for our family and for many of our renters' families. Many of our renters come back year after year, and their children have grown up with Pondering Pines!

Our cabin is located in downtown Twain Harte, just steps away from restaurants and shops. Pondering Pines Cabin is on Mark Twain Road, one of the quietest and most lovely streets in all of Twain Harte, with plenty of trees and very little traffic.
