This private, charming and comfortable home, is only a five minute walk to Sebasco Harbor Resort, yet located on a private cove that has a sandy beach at low tide and plenty of places to swim, fish, kayak at high tide. This property has been in our family for over 60 years. It has just received a facelift: updated furnishings, new carpet and new appliances. There is plenty of room for everyone to gather together for a blueberry pancake breakfast or a lobster feast... spread out... enjoy the screened porch with an outdoor fireplace & grill, a perfect place to enjoy morning coffee. We have 23 acres of private property all with peaceful views of Long Cove and Casco Bay. Bring your kayak or canoe to enjoy the quiet coves and islands.
The layout includes a kitchen, dining area with ample seating, large and comfortable living room with beautiful stone fireplace, full bathroom, Master Bedroom with double bed and a large screened porch with beautiful woodland views. There are other bedrooms with 2 twin beds and a bunk room. The property has full access to Long Cove. This property is one of 4 properties that have been in the family for 3 generations. Our family came to the Phippsburg area in the 1880's. They may be rented together for large family gatherings. Please inquire as to discounts available for multiple weeks or houses.
Looking for things to do? Sebasco Harbor Resort is just a short walk through the woods and there you can enjoy a unique sea-side salt-water pool, golf, tennis, full service spa, kayaking, boating, fitness, biking, children's programs as well as restaurants and seasonal events. There are weekly activities including softball and boat trips, and the QuarterDeck, an old-fashioned arcade with bowling lanes, table tennis, pool and video games. (Great for rainy days).
Just down the road North Creek farm offers organics foods, produce and delicious lunch. A 10-min. drive away, you will find world-class Popham Beach State Park where you can walk to an island at low tide, and Head Beach at Small Point. Spinney’s, Anna’s Water Edge and The Lobster House all offer great Maine cuisine in a comfortable atmosphere. The Phippsburg Land Trust also provides many hiking trails throughout the peninsula. Bath, about 15 minutes away, is a wonderful small town on the Kennebec River is a friendly and walkable, Front Street is lined with restaurants and shops. (Reny’s a Maine adventure) Further down the road, Brunswick, home to Bowdoin College and The Maine State Theatre has fabulous shows for all ages and the Freeport outlets provides shopping of all kinds.

My family has stayed at Stillmeadow the last 2 years and it's the best vacation spot! Close to amazing beaches, plenty of options to get a good bowl of chowder & the resort pass is well worth the money, especially if you have kids. About the owner: I have been coming to Sebasco for over 50 years. It is where I come to recoup, regroup and recharge...while munching on blueberries, eating lobsters and whoopie pies.
