thank you so much for sharing your beautiful placw with us. It had been my moms dream to come and see the redwoods and your place was the perfect place to stay. The jam, berries and smoked salmon were delicious. Our dogs Burton and Chaco enjoyed the freedom. Happy 50th anniversary to a beautiful couple.

we can'tthank you enough you were the BEST. This was our first big vacation as a family of 4 and your home was te perfect place to spend it. We loved ther strawberry jam and picking fresh berries from your garden. Some day soon when the fishing is HOT as they say we hope to be back. I am not surprised that you will be celebrating your 50th wedding anniversary this month because you two truly are amazing wonderful people.

Peaceful and Comfortable

This is a studio off the garage of a very nice home on the Smith river. It is comfortable and private enough. The people who own this are very friendly and willing to please. The river and redwoods are amazing. Thank you for a nice stay with our family. Sorry so late in reviewing- we stayed last summer for almost 2 weeks.

Very Nice Retreat

John and Ruth have a great little retreat. We especially enjoyed the smell of homemade bread when we arrived and Ruth leaves you a jar of homemade raspberry jam to go along with it. This cottage has everything you need. Very comfortable for 2 people and beautiul surroundings. We enjoyed sitting by the river and enjoying the quiet. Thank you John and Ruth for a very delightful and peaceful place.

We traveled from the Ozark mountains to see this magical place. This was a life long dream and it was more than we had hoped for. John and Ruthann you welcomed us as if we were old friends and yet we had never met! However we leave with heavy hearts, feeling like we are parting from family. You are welcome to visit our area and stay with us anything we wopuld be thrilled so show you our rolling hills and meet our neighbors. Thank you for all tha you've done. We were met at the end of the drive by a sweet man on the back of a neon green quad. He personally escorted us to our bngalo among the beautiful redwoods. we opened our door to the smell of fresh baked bread, homemade jam and smoked local salmon. Were do you go from there? Up apparently! Without question the most relaxing vacation we have been on thus farm. I don't know that you can describe in words the feeling you get or the beauty of the area. With these four words should help explain. "we will be back" Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Beautiful fraagrant roses in a vase awaiting for us in the kitchen and freshly baked bread and homemade yummy jam. What a nice surprise. Thank you so much for welcoming us when we got here and for showing us around and letting us borrow hitchen stuff. Hope we can come back here again.

Thank you for giving some very overworked folks the complete respite we needed! The yummy bread and jam upon arrival and so wonderful, a welcome the minute we walked into the darling studio. Thanks for letting us come on such short notice for our son's basketball tournament. Great option to a stuffy motel room! So far one game won and two to go. 6:00 p.m. Okay game two won!! We'll be off to the championship game here in a few minutes. Had lunch at Torero's..Highly recommend it! Great ,mexican food. My daughter & her friend went on a walk & found rusty chainsaws! Now they think they're part of a horror movie! LOL too funny! Lost the championship but came in second. Very fun time....
