This was our second time in a VRBO and we were very impressed! Everything we could possible need was at our finger tips which made our stay most enjoyable. The central location made it easy to get around and after long days of walking it was so nice to soak in the hot tub! Thank-you for all the thoughtful details, can’t wait to visit again!

Our first time renting a house for a Disneyland vacation was an excellent experience. The house is as shown in the pictures. Everything is very modern with nice updates. Frances was very prompt in all correspondence and has the whole process down to a science. Anything you need to know about the house and surrounding area are in the house somewhere. We were a family of 6 and a family of 4. We had 6 children age 6 months to 15 years. They all loved staying here. The house is a very short walk to Disneyland/California Adventures. It took us 15-20 minutes each time. After the long days at Disneyland the hot tub was a wonderful. There are 3 bathrooms with a shower in each, and with everyone taking showers, there was still plenty of hot water.

This home has everything you need. We stayed for 6 nights with 4 adults and 5 children ages 1-55. Frances has everything from a few snacks/food items, treats, strollers, high chair, toys, blow dryer, curling iron, every possible kitchen utensil, paper, plastic, glassware, grilling needs, California information, directions and much more. Being able to do laundry was great for us beach-goers and theme park-ers. Disneyland is right next door. The walk took us 15 minutes because you have to walk around to Downtown Disney, there is no way to go through, but we loved being so close. Some days we did drive and park and take advantage of 3 hours free parking because we were too tired to walk. At the end of a long day my kids were ready to be in the stroller or not have to walk home, including my 5 and 3 year old. So sometimes we tried to work out a driver to pick us up or park after dinner breaks. The home is on the west side of Disneyland and the area was not busy at all, the street quiet, you would never know D-land was 3 doors down. It was a clean neighborhood and we had no issues there. We realized that paying for this home was about the same as decent hotel rooms for our group. This was 100 times better. People have rooms to sleep in while others stay up or sleep in. 3 bathrooms got everyone ready with no problems of crowding. Cooking a meal was better than always eating out, and like I said before, the laundry situation was wonderful. Frances is great to answer questions and very prompt in responding to emails/calls. She does have to let you in the house (we have stayed in some homes where the owner mails you the key and you can enter when you please), and she ended up waiting for us to get there because the drive took longer than planned. But she was kind and very knowledgeable and helped answer our questions. We would return in a heartbeat and would recommend this home to everyone, any age.

This is such a beautiful house. Frances has set it up so well, we felt so welcomed. She has every little detail well thought out. From tips on how to get here and there around disney downtown, to printed out maps for your use, and much much more. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and more. It was a wonderful experience. There were 10 of us and we ALL loved the house. Toys and games for the kids. The jacuzzi and beautiful water falls outside, with fruit trees and beautiful flowers. Right next door to disney - you honestly can't get any closer to convenience than this. Thank you John and Frances, we will definitely be back.

3 words or less.... We loved it! This property was better than we expected. We have 4 children so vacationing in a house makes things very simple. We loved all the extras this house had to offer: water fall and jaccuzzi in the back yard, chocolates and fruit to welcome us, fully stocked kitchen essentials (coffee, squeeze bottles in the fridge, bottled water). The house was so clean, beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. The area is quiet and so close to Disney. We wished we spent more time in Anaheim just to enjoy the house more. Would highly recommend to everyone. Thank you Francis and John for such a lovely home we could stay at!

This vacation home made our vacation perfect, there was none of the stress of wondering what you gonna get when you get there from our first contact with Francis until we arrived everything was perfect even the small things you don't expect Or think would be provided was at the home, not to mention the easy walk to Disney really saves on parking,we spent a week at Disney and the hot tub sure made it nice after a long day,I could go on and on but the jist of it is that if you are looking at this home don't hesitate Thank you, Francis.

This home was wonderful. Plenty of room for the kids to play, and spacious enough for us not to get in each others way. Frances was a delight and very helpful in our planning. Her home was well furnished. The fruit trees were an added bonus, as we had grapefruit for breakfast, we had missed the avocados. The walking distance wasn't too bad to Disneyland, and the kids actually raced each other down the paths towards disney. We also enjoyed the nearby park and beach, and it was nice to come "home" to a house and not a motel room. Thanks again for all the extras. Buffi,

We really enjoyed our stay in your home. The back yard was nice, as it allowed the children to run. The home was beautiful and the fresh fruit was a nice extra. We didn't have time for the hot tub or grill, maybe we can experience those on our next visit. I would recommend this property to my friends if they were going to be in the area. Thanks for the extra little candies, the kids thought that was the best treat ever.

Perfect Home, Close to Disneyland!!

We rented this home for the second time in the last year and a half and are sure to be back over the coming years. We made the long drive from Northern California with extended family (6 adults, 5 children ages 5-9). This home was absolutely perfect for our group! Frances seems to have thought of every detail possible to make the stay perfect. We spend many nights soaking in the hot tub after long days of walking through the park. The kids really enjoyed the foos-ball table, ping pong table, and the Nintendo Game cube as well. We were never short of things to keep us occupied or just relaxed. A few of the real positives to this property... Short walk (10-15 minutes leisurely) to the Disneyland tram (that takes you to the front gates). Great for multiple families or extended family. You have the ability to save money by preparing meals, packing lunches, etc to take to the park or eat at home (grocery store is less than a mile away). Tankless water heater was great for allowing all 3 showers to be used in the morning so we could get out the door. Really there are so many to list, but most of all the ease of renting from Frances, and her sweet/kind personality. She is a plethora of information and advice to make your stay just perfect. She has gone above and beyond in so many ways, you will NOT be disappointed by staying here!!!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay! We had 7 adults and 3 children and it was perfect! Very clean, and had everything we needed to feel at home. We especially made good use of the baby equipment and toys. It was so nice not to have to pack strollers or portable cribs and the highchair was a plus. We cooked a lot of our own meals and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, spices, etc. The backyard is gorgeous and we made good use of the jacuzzi. It is a quick mile walk to Disney which was nice not to have to pay for parking. Frances and John are very attentive to their guests needs and were very helpful. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again!

Our extended family of 8 adults and 2 children recently stayed here for 5 nights. The house was clean and spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Having three full baths was a huge plus, and the tankless hot water heater worked great. We could use all three showers at the same time and not run out of hot water. The backyard is really nice, the jacuzzi was used every evening. Easy walk to Disneyland. I've never rented a vacation home before, and it was a great experience. We would definitely rent this house again when returning to Disneyland.

Perfect Disneyland House

This house was perfect!!!! You couldnt ask for anything more. The house had everything you needed, from fresh fruit off the trees out the back to a beautiful display of chocolates which I might add are still attached to my hips. The Spa was well used especially after long days at Disneyland. Having a family of 6 it wonderful for everyone to have their own space. And as for our wonderful hosts "Frances and John" , they were amazing and lovely people which we hope to meet another day. Frances and John were around in a flash if you needed. Public transport was easyily available to bus stop and then onto trains which were very close by which we used to get to Universal Studios . We would hightly recommend this property to fellow Aussies and to others .

We had a wonderful stay - the house is beautiful and the neighborhood is very quiet. The drive to Disneyland is less than 5 minutes. Our son is disabled so he can't really spend a lot of time in the park - we were able to drive back before lunch and then pick up our daughter later in the afternoon. it was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this house for families with young children.

This was our first Vacation Rental by Owner experience and we did not know what to expect, figured the owner was exaggerating. What a marvelous surprise, our home away from home was. The home was situated next to Disneyland (our main destination) in a beautiful neighborhood, on a quiet street, with nice neighbors and a most gracious hostessl. The home had every convenience you could want and more. It was warm, family friendly, spacious and gracious, we felt at home immediately. We all (6 of us) 3 adults and 3 children loved it and hated to leave. We definitely want to come back to this home but also wish to someday experiement with other areas if possible. I would categorize our stay and this VRBO experience as an A+.

We were there with our 3 children and a set of grandparents. The kids loved the bin of toys and fruit trees in the back yard. It was nice to have a kitchen stocked with the "essentials". It was a great location and so nice to have a house for the week. We have already recommended this house to several friends who are going to Disneyland and we plan on revisiting again soon!

Thank you Frances and John for making our first Christmas away from home the most magical one of all. We apperciate you working with our family at the very last moment to create such a wonderful experience that we will never forget. From the moment I spoke to you Frances I knew that someway this was exactly the right home for our family. When we arrived late that evening and you greated us with such delight as you were showing us around. When my daughter asked where the toys were you opened this closet that was full of all kinds of toys for all ages my children were so happy. Then you even put gifts under the tree for each of them. I have rented before but never with someone who pays such attention to detail.... Down to having to go cups for coffee in the morning to take to Disneyland. When we come back again and we WILL we will be staying with you for sure.

Walk to Disney

The previous reviews on this vacation property were all confirmed by our stay in Dec 2010. Two families had more than enough space to relax after hectic days at Disney, Six Flags, and Universal. John and Frances were available if we needed them and at the same time allowed our privacy. The house is gorgeous and has all the amenities needed. The 'in season' fruit on the trees was exciting to pick for our 8 and 9 year olds. The walk to Disney is not far and we rented a car to shop and other excursions. I would highly recommend this property for a wonderful visit to Anaheim and Disney. .

We stayed here with our 3 kids (2 year old twins and a 1 year old) and had such a wonderful time. Frances was a wonderful host and provided everything we could imagine. This home is truly amazing! If you are looking for a home away from home for your family trip in the Anaheim area, this is it! Our 4 generation family vacation was a week at Disneyland and this home was a treat to come to each evening. Frances & John were such a delight, they made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and were close at hand if we needed anything. My kids & grandkids were in awe of the "tree" of hershey kisses awaiting them and that was just the beginning, everything we could have possibly needed was there. Frances had a binder of everything Anaheim, right down to the local grocery store ads and how to get there. We have rented other houses but this was truly a home. I highly recommend this home, everything was described accurately and was even better in person. We will definitely be back and staying here the next time we plan a vacation to Anaheim. Disneyland may be the happiest place on earth but this definitely added to the magic!

My family just returned from a fabulous week long stay at the property while we explored Sea World, Disney and Southern California. We have used VRBO rentals in the past and have always been pleased but this property was our absolute favorite. The home is beautifully appointed, close to Disneyland and stocked with anything you could possibly need. Including printed directions to local grocery stores, Target , restaurants,and other attractions. Perfect place for families..an adorable kids room and a stocked toy closet. Frances, you are a wonderful hostess and we so enjoyed our stay in your beautiful vacation rental. The tower of kisses was a big hit! We hope to see you again and stay here on a future visit.

This was the first time we had ever rented a house while on vacation. And wow will this one be hard to beat. A definite recommendation for anyone staying in the Anaheim area. Having a comfortable place to stay after a long day just makes your trip that much better. We found being able to get up and have breakfast at the house ever day just made the start of the day easier. Besides the money you will save on food. The walk to Disneyland was close so whenever we needed a break it was quick to get back for some relaxation. As well, the house had absolutely everything you needed. Frances and John had thought of everything. I definitely recommend this vacation rental to anyone planning a trip to Disneyland. It will be recommended to all of our friends!

Excellent Property, in excellent location, owned and maintained to an outstanding standard by a couple who care about their guest. On arrival France’s was there to greet us and show us around the property. The house and gardens were perfect in every way and France & John’s attention to detail throughout the property is second to none. They have gone to great detail to provide as much information about not only the local area but other areas around California. If you couldn’t find the information you required Frances & John were always ready to assist. We found it an ideal base and within easy travelling distance to most attractions. Would highly recommend, and if going back to California in the future, would not hesitate to stay here again. Fresh fruit from the trees was enjoyed by all. Thank you for making our stay a pleasurable one.

We arrived 6/21/2010 at this wonderful home. Francis met us and took us on a tour of her lovely home. Welcome candy kisses and fruit in the refrig really hit if off with my garnddaughter. This home has every thing you will need for a great vacation. We enjoyed the orange and grapefruit from the trees in the back yard. Peel them and put in a blender that is there in the home really good juice to start your day. We had a great dinner of grilled steaks and all sat in the dining room for a family dinner, no way can you do that in a hotel room, yes you can go out but it's not the same to have the family around the table in a home that makes you feel like home. The walk to Disney is nice and the area is real safe no matter what time of the night. So no need to keep looking book this home you will be very happy. Thanks to Francis for all her hard work to make our vacation very special.

Frances and John -- thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous house with us during our family vacation in CA! Your home was not only warm and inviting, but stocked full of little "extras" that made the house feel like HOME to us. There were wonderful surprises everywhere, from the fresh fruit in the fridge, and a tower of Hershey's kisses, to the wonderful stash of chilren's toys in the hall closet (one of the grandkids exclaimed "they have the COOL toys at this house!!"). The house's proximity to Disneyland was fantastic -- in addition to saving money on one house instead of renting 3 hotel rooms, we saved at least $60 per day in parking fees at Disneyland. We were able to walk to the tram (or even the front gate of Disneyland) in about 10 minutes. This also saved us money on meals -- we'd walk home at dinner and dine at home, then head back to Disney until they closed at midnight!. And being able to stick our tired tootsies in the hot tub at the end of the day was just glorious!! I've stayed in several VRBO rentals, and they were all very nice. But this home out shined all of them, and truly felt like HOME!! If we're ever in the Anaheim area again, this is the ONLY place we'll stay!! :)

I have rented various rustic sites, resorts, homes & condos for our extended family vacations for the past 30 years. The worst was a FL place that only had furniture - I ended up buying everything we needed from the can opener to the garbage can liners & more utensils, glasses, plates etc. for our group of 8 (on that trip). The best was this terrific home - which is super comfortable, bright, delightfully furnished, includes higher end appliances and is extremely well stocked with toys, games, towels, small kitchen appliances, a wide variety of kitchen tools, many customary daily consumables and more. The kitchen especially is amazingly well equipped to accommodate many different kinds of cooking from BBQ, roasting, slow cooker, stir-fry, stove top, frying, baking and more. The hot tub is a glorious retreat after a busy day and I can't begin to describe how awesome it is to pick fresh citrus in the backyard for munching. The owners go out of their way to facilitate your enjoyable stay with everything from the discount cards to use at local groceries to a notebook full of information (including the weekly ads) for nearby restaurants and stores. Proximity to both the park and local attractions makes every day go smoothly. Our family had a great experience here and highly recommend this home to any who wants to have fun and relax while on holiday. **Being able to watch fireworks from the front yard every night was a super bonus to us - we are just nuts for fireworks.** I have to admit that I reserved this home with a high level of confidence since every single review rated it as a 5 on a scale of 1 to 5, however I was thrilled to find out in person that it was actually a 6. You will NOT be disappointed here.

Frances and John, Thank you again for making our stay perfect. Being able to start our day enjoying a cup of coffee was amazing, we have stayed at other places and had to supply our own staples, but with you so generously providing these items it made for a relaxing stay. It was great being able to walk home from the park and cook supper then return to the park for the fireworks. Every detail about this rental helped the budget greatly by not eating out all a week and not having to get 2 hotel rooms for the 7 in our family. The girls being able to use the wireless internet was a bonus, the game tables and the pure comfort you have put into this house with every little detail of caring you have for your guests. Everything about our vacation was absolutely perfect and we thank you so much for sharing your home with us all and can not express enough how great the house was and most of all how great You and John are (having you accross the street was also great). Frances & John, Thank you again for making our stay so relaxing and comfortable. Your home was perfect for our family of 6, with children ages 6-18. We've stayed at the Californian and Disneyland Hotel and we all agreed this will definitely be the accommodations of choice when we plan another trip this way. It was so nice to let the kids sleep in in the morning while Grant & I went for a run or enjoyed a cup of tea/coffee (which you had so generously provided) before breakfast and another busy day. In the evening Sean & I watched the fireworks form the front yard and we all enjoyed relaxing in the hut tub. The best part was being able to cook from home. This helped the budget quite a bit by not eating out all a week. Your kitchen was set up so well, it was perfect & we even got the chance to BBQ one night. The walk was just right, our 6 year old enjoyed skipping along the trails beside the sidewalk, even after a full day at the park. We did cheat and take advantage of the 3 hours free parking a few times, just because we could. Our 8 year old son, Sean, said, "This was the best vacation ever!" And, Frances, he will never forget how sweet you were for bringing him those new games to enjoy while he was there. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect and we thank you so much for sharing your home. Our group (Grandparents, 2 kids with spouses, and 5 grandchildren ages 4-8) spent 5 days at this wonderful house for our Disneyland vacation. It was the first time all the little ones got to go to Disneyland so we did lots of research and planning to ensure it would be a memorable trip. Frances was a wonderful host and so helpful by answering all our questions and making sure everything was in order before we went. The house was way above and beyond what we expected. Not only beautiful, but had everything we could possibly need. The kids enjoyed the video games and we all enjoyed the jacuzzi after the long days of walking around Disneyland. We weren't sure the kids would make the walk to the tram every day, but they did it without any issues... somedays even twice a day. Frances also went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We did not have a vehicle and went to the grocery store (about a mile away) to do our shopping. She offered to pick up our groceries for us when we were done (since she had some time that afternoon). It was such a help to not have to track down a taxi to get all the food back to the house. On the last night there, we decided to make brownies and in our planning... forgot to get some oil from the store. Since Frances is just across the street, she was able to give us the 1/2 cup we needed. We are looking forward to going back to Disneyland in the next few years and will definitely plan on staying at this house again. We created many wonderful memories for our families and a lot of it was having this home to come back to at the end of our long days. Thank you Frances!!!

This property is like nothing we have ever stayed in before and combines luxury with all the comforts of home. Going above and beyond does not even begin to describe the owners of this property and the beautiful, clean, spacious home they provide. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners to do for us. The house is within walking distance of Disneyland and several good quality restaurants and the owners provide a folder with a comprehensive range of menus, maps, brochures and helpful hints. This house is ideal for a large family or group, multiple living areas and bathrooms means everyone can have their own space. The whole family will be kept entertained with the wide range of games and activities included with the house. You won't belive it until you see it!! This house is suitable for all ages, it accomodates for new borns right up to the elderly and truly is a refuge to come home to after a busy day sightseeing! Our one regret was that we did not have enough time to take advantage of the many luxuries this house has to offer.

Over the years, we have leased a number of vacation homes in Arizona and one home in Oahu, Hawaii. Without a doubt, this home was the best home yet. (a quote from our four year old granddaughter) Frances and John were very gracious and attentive hosts. Frances provided us with a tour of the home upon our arrival and provided us with an abundance of information about the Anaheim area. Her "insider" suggestions of how to navigate Disneyland were very helpful. It was reassuring to us to have them "just across the street" during our stay. The home was immaculate upon our arrival and greatly exceeded our expectations. The grounds, landscaping, and the amenities were exactly as described and pictured in the property listing. The furnishings are of excellent quality and the decor is functional and pleasing to the eye. The home was still decorated for Christmas (lighted tree) which was quite a pleasant surprise. We were joined by our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren (7 years & 4 years) for a family vacation at Disneyland. The neighborhood is very quiet except for the late evening firework displays at Disneyland which were viewable from the front yard. The short walk to Downtown Disney was easy and level. Even though we walked back to the home in the evenings, we were never concerned about our personal safety. The beds were very comfortable and the provided amenities were excellent. Frances had the kitchen stocked with snacks, breakfast cereals, and drinks upon our arrival so we did not immediately have to go shopping for groceries. Our grandchildren were amazed at the number of toys, especially the electronic and board games. The foosball game was a favorite of our grandson. Due to the distance between us and our children, our shared vacations are very special times for us. The Disneyland vacation will always be a special memory. An important part of this memory will be the lovely home that Frances and John provided for us. We recommend this property highly.

We can't speak highly enough of this beautifully decorated vacation home and the way it made our family time so warm and comfortable. We needed a home base for a family wedding and reunion--we had 7 to 10 (grandparents, young adults, and a toddler) with us various nights. The layout of the home and three bathrooms facilitated both privacy and together times. The furnishings were in excellent condition, but sturdy enough for a young family! The fully-equipped kitchen (and barbecue) allowed us to save money and relax by cooking some of our own meals and I was even able to prepare and take a wedding breakfast for 35. The owners had truly thought of everything and beyond--little touches like the Christmas decorations and chocolate kisses, discount cards, coupons, lots of toys for our grandson, and personal recommendations for local supermarkets, restaurants, and attractions. Our northern guests enjoyed picking fresh fruit and we all enjoyed the hot tub and beautifully landscaped yard, complete with waterfall. We walked to Disneyland and back and found shopping that was quite convenient. The owners were friendly and professional to deal with in every way and we knew we could easily contact them if we needed anything. We would love to return sometime if we have the opportunity.

The home was absolutely fabulous. We had such a wonderful family reunion. We were close to all of the activities we wanted to attend which included the rose parade. My family and in-laws rented this wonderful property the week prior to Thanksgiving. We loved the fruit trees in the back yard and liked how close the property was to the park. The kitchen is well-equipped with most anything you could possibly need. We also enjoyed the hot tub on several occasions. This was by far the best place I have ever stayed. Not only was it beautiful, but it was a very comfortable stay. The beds, including the one in the living area, had comfortable mattresses. (Not the pull out couch type). There were conveniences for just about everything - shampoo, lots of thick towels, washer and dryer with soap, etc. The kitchen had everything you could think of - dishes, pots, pans, silverware, paper goods, small and large appliances. The yard is so enjoyable to come back to after a long day at Disneyland - with a hot tub, beautiful fountain, and fruit trees. If you have kids, there are lots of kid friendly touches including a infant bathing tub, a stroller, and some toys. The "kids" room has four beds (two on the bottom and two on the top). The room is decorated with very cute Disney touches. There is a foosball table and a ping pong table as well as plenty of TVs and board games to keep everyone busy when not visiting Disneyland.

"The home was perfect and had a very '5 Star' feel to it. I attended a convention in Anaheim along with 7 friends and we we had such a wonderful time that we are already talking about staying at this home again next year! The location was perfect. It was within walking distance to both Disney and the Convention Center. We had a very busy schedule, and it was wonderful to come back to the house after a hectic day to relax by the fountain or in the jacuzzi. The kitchen was well stocked and it was so much more economical to cook at the house than to eat at restaurants each night. Frances was also a wonderful host who went above and beyond the level of hospitality we were accustomed to. Most of us arrived on Thursday, and after hours of flying/driving it was such a pleasant surprise to find the house stocked with fresh fruit and snacks. She also came over to greet my friends, who arrived about a half hour before I did, and gave them a full tour of the home. I highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back next year!

If you are planning a trip to Anaheim, do not hesitate to rent this property. The home is lovely, clean, and well maintained. The owners have gone the 2nd mile to make sure that you have everything you need during your stay and are very responsive to any needs that arise. One feature we enjoyed was having the private master bedroom at the back of the house. The grandchildren loved the toys, etc. We did end up taking our cars into Disneyland because the walk was hard on the small children after walking around Disneyland all day. This house was incredible for our 2 families who came together to enjoy Disneyland. John & Frances were amazing hosts & we as parents we so thankful for room for the kids to "run it off" instead of being cooped up in a hotel room. The house is very comfortable & John & Frances couldn't have been more gracious! The bus stop is not even 1 block away and takes you right to the main entrance. We were even chosen to be the families that opened the park one day - it was awesome! This home was incredible! We stayed from the 4th-11th of July 2009. Frances had everything we could possibly need. The home and backyard were beautiful. Our group included 2 small children, 2 teenagers, and 5 adults - there was plenty of room for all! Great location to visit all the SoCal tourist areas! It was suggested to me to consider renting a house for an annual huaka'i (journey) to CA with 8 hula halau members. As a former hotel executive, I was hesitant at first, but began looking into it. From the moment I spoke with Frances, I knew this was the place for us. Other reviews spoke highly of her, but words can not express how genuinely beautiful she is. Her thoughtfulness at every level, down to full sized shampoo and body wash in each beautifully appointed bathroom, made my job 10 X easier. I expected to have to shop for everything, including body wash and shampoo plus everything I was going to prepare for meals, including spices and beverages. Because I brought a group of dancers, water is essential for each of them. Frances had welcomed us with an abundant amount of chilled bottled water, two gallons of milk and yes, there were lots of spices for cooking. The home allowed all my students to relax after long hours of dance classes. The home was spotless, spacious and soothing to come "home" to each night. There are so many extras, I could never cover them all, but in these economic times, we all seem to want to get what we pay for. Well, for us we received much much more than we paid for, with Frances' kind spirit, the attention to detail, the "extras" within the house, the spa jaccuzzi, waterfalls in the back yard, we would have paid so much more in a "resort" for all these wonderful services and ammenities. If you are hesitant, as I was going into this venture, ease your mind and relax...you will be so spoiled, you won't want to leave. Our halau is already working on our 2010 huaka'i, and by the way, we will be staying at this perfect home away property!! Aloha Pumehana...

Excellent home, great for large family!

Hi, I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful home with my extended family for one week in May. We were a large group that included 4 couples, as well as 3 young children from ages 5 to 18 mos. There was plenty of space for all of us and the home met or exceeded everyone of our expectations for our stay. We were so impressed with the house and how well it facilitated our vacation that we would love to make it back there again someday. The size of this home was perfect for our large group. There were 3 bedrooms, plus an extra bed for our fourth couple who were with us for a few days that was screened off from the living room. The 3 full bathrooms were terrific for getting everyone ready in a hurry in the mornings. If one bathroom was taken there always seemed to be a free one someplace else in the house. The kitchen was large and stocked with all the necessities. The furniture, bedroom decor, living room, bathrooms, etc., were all first rate. Our kids loved the large yard and patio and spent a lot of time playing in the yard. The citrus trees in back were ripe with grapefruits and oranges, which were a great snack. The location of the house could not have been better. We were directly across the street from the Disney hotels. We walked most days into Disneyland in about 10 minutes, even with small children. A couple of times we stopped and took the monorail into the park, which would cut the walk about in half. Shopping and restaurants were easily accessible and there were charts and maps provided by our host so we could find our way easily. For the days we drove to San Deigo or up to Universal Studios, I-5 was just a short drive away leading directly to both locations. My last point I'd like to make is the extra attention to detail that we noticed during our stay. All of the conveniences we could have needed had already been thought of for us ahead of time. There were muffins and a gallon of milk in the fridge along with some breakfast cereal in the cabinet, and I already mentioned the maps to local stores along with grocery cards for our use that were provided for our conveniece. The best and most thoughtful thing was a Mother's day cake left in the fridge for the Mom's in our party, which was such a nice surprise and a perfect way for us to start our vacation. What a GLORIOUS home! We spent 3 nights/4 days here with visiting relatives from Austria, a total of 4 adults and 4 kids, and it was the perfect, restful home for us all. I highly recommend this home --- you will not regret it! Frances has decorated and stocked the home with wonderful furnishings and details, the neighborhood is quiet and safe and clean, you can walk to Disneyland!!!, and the hot tub & backyard provides a restful respite from the chaos of Disneyland. We will definitely be back! SOOO much better than a hotel... we made lots of extra special memories cooking & eating together in the diningroom, and slept like BABIES! Thank you Frances & John!!!

We took our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren to Disneyland for spring break. Finding this home was truly a gift!! What a pleasure to come "home" from a day of adventures where everyone could relax and we could prepare and eat healthy meals. Every detail was perfect for us - the sleeping arrangements were great, 3 bathrooms made getting everyone ready each day very easy, the kitchen is very well equipped. Frances had good information on the location of supermarkets, restaurants, beaches and all of the Annaheim attractions! We were walking distance from Disneyland, The neighborhood is quiet and we felt very safe. This is a great way to enjoy a family vacation - it would also be great for a reunion with college friends etc. We give it 5 stars!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely property that is within minutes walking distance to Disneyland. Not only were amenities at this very family-friendly home top-knotch, but so too was the level of detail and care put into this experience by the home's owners. From the minute we arrived, my family felt looked-after, as the home's owners provided us with a step-by-step tour of the home and its features. Also welcoming were the various snacks and useful sundries left for us by the owners in the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator. Finally, the home's yard and its landscaping are pluses that we enjoyed, particularly in light of the wonderful California weather. I highly recommend this property for families and anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the Southern California area.
