The description was accurate. The location was perfect--just a short ride over the bridge to a beautiful town where you have short rides to many areas as well as peace and quiet! The welcome basket was wonderful start the stay, particularly after a long flight. Both Sam and Teresa were professional and available. We have a slight issue with smelling cigarette smoke one morning and Sam promptly addressed the situation, as well as buying us breakfast for the inconvenience. The condo was clean and had everthing you need for your stay. The only thing to note is that the beds were a little too soft for us and our backs! Thanks again Teresa and Sam!

We had a fab week at Harrison House! What with the wonderful views of Alcatraz and San Fran from the bay window, the facilities and cleanliness of the apartment. Not forgetting the delightfully comfortable beds!! Thank you to Sam, for the lovely bottle of wine, cheese and bread that awaited us on our arrival. Just what we needed after a long day travelling. Harrison House is ideally situated to Sausalito town centre, and the Golden Gate Bridge is not too far away ( a little bit of a hike). We didn't have a car but there are a few little market stores in Sausalito (although longer that the 5-10 mins walk stated in the welcome pack), and the steps in the lane are quite steep, but we knew this beforehand. But there are always plenty of taxis in Sausalito town! Also, make sure you get a 'clipper' ticket if you plan to use the Ferry/public transport over to San Fran. We didn't know this but you will save money if you do (a few helpful tips like this would be beneficial to future travellers as not everyone will have use of a private vehicle and so will be relying on public transport). Make sure you book a table at Poggio's for lunch/dinner as it gets really busy, and for a lively drink, be sure to stop off at 'the bar with no name'. They have an open mic every Tuesday night so bring your guitar! Thank you to Teresa and Sam. We will definately recommend Harrison House to our friends and would love to come back one day.

Dear Teresa, Happy Holidays to you and your family. I hope you heard from us through Sam that we had a perfect time at Harrison House. There were many things that were so great about your home. It is so attractive and inviting. The location is great and we got around quite well. I had been worried about the parking, yet it was easy. It was a very cold week in Marin, yet we were warm and cozy with the heat and the fireplace. We enjoyed the TV, but couldn't get the radio or DVD going for some reason. Too many button options, I suppose. We had dinner at Angelino's one night...delicious. I hope we have the opportunity to visit again and will let you know. From the goodie basket and the bottle of wine upon arrival to the bath salts and and comfortable spa robes, the attention to detail was very impressive. The state of the art kitchen and welcoming fireplace were very much appreciated as well. We will definitely be back!

My family of 3 recently stayed in this lovely condo and had the best experience ever! From the booking to departure, everything was perfect. The condo itself is immaculate and well appointed. There wasn't a single thing we needed that wasn't there. The beds and linens were ever so comfy and luxurious. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. I'm ready to go back for a week, to do nothing but sit on the sofa in front of the picture window, soaking up the sun, with a good book. A wonderful getaway!

Dear Teresa, Back in Dordrecht again, we still remember the beautifull time, which we spent in your house on Harrison Avenue. The apartment was very comfortable, but also inspiring to make the best of our holiday. To see the sunrise, sitting on the settee with morning coffee, walking down the stairs to the ferry dock and boarding for a mini-cruise to SF, wander through the Muir Woods or along the seashore at Stinson Beach, re-exploring Mill Valley. We really had a holiday to remind for long. All of us four finished the Bay to Breakers, a run with a carnivalesc athmosphere, climbing the Hayes street hill in record time. Dear T: We have travelled a long way and we are glad that we have chosen the Harrison House as our abode for 2 weeks. The house was clean and provided for all our needs. As I wake up in the morning, I enjoyed watching sailboats passing by. My 2 kids had so much fun that they were pleading for an extended stay.My wife likewise enjoyed the complete facilities in the kitchen which encouraged her to cook for us (she never had the chance to do it back home). All told, we enjoyed our stay in the Harrison house and learn to love Sausalito.

We stayed here for 3 nights in April 2009. We booked at very short notice & were accommodated with a minimum of fuss. Thanks to Gail for looking after us. The apartment is 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, modern decor & quality fittings & appliances. It is in a beautiful location with views over the bay to SF. Sausalito is just the best spot to stay for your SF holiday, our only regret is that we could not stay longer.
