Beautiful 3500 square foot home with everything a family needs to have the perfect vacation. The kitchen has everything that you can think of in utensils, cooking pans and plates, silverware, etc. There are several eating areas: a breakfast bar that seats four, a dining room that seats 6,a large room with a Pool table and wet bar, and the lanai area can seat up to 10. The lanai is fully covered and looks out into the pool area so you can sit covered in a comfortable room while watching the kids swim outdoors. The pool is heated and there is also a connected Jacuzzi. All this is surrounded by a wall for a private, enclosed back yard.
The bedrooms are large suites and the two upstairs have bay views. The Master Suite has a California King Bed, and a sofa which also has a Queen bed. This suite has a his and hers bathroom, meaning two separate toilet rooms with sinks and a large, walk in shower that is shared by the two bathrooms. There is a small balcony that has a beautiful bay view.
The second bedroom has a Double Bed and a Twin Bed in it. It has its own bathroom with a large walk in shower that has a bench seat with additional low showerheads. This room also has a small balcony that has a gorgeous bay view.
The third bedroom with a double bed is on the first floor and it can be closed off with its own bathroom with a tub/shower combination bathroom.
All the bedrooms can be shut off so they are like private suites. An airbed could be added because there is an additional bathroom with a shower.
The common areas are the large living and dining room, the pool table room with a wet bar, a family room. There are six TVs in the house, three with DVD players.
The location is fabulous. Very close to most of San Diego's great attractions. Half block from the Bay (which has a sandy beach), and approx. two blocks from Crown Point Park which has large grassy areas, sand and swimming areas. The beach is approx. 10 blocks from house. The weather is approximately 70 degrees year round. Close driving to La Jolla, downtown San Diego and Coronado. Sea World is less than a half mile away, and the Zoo is about a 15 minute drive. The Water Park, Knotts Soak City, Legoland, and The Wild Animal Park are all close driving. You can do Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm in a day excursion easily.

We have rented several places at the beach in San Diego over the years, and this one was by far, the best location, most space,and the most caring hosts. The house was spacious, with plenty of sleeping spaces and bathrooms for our crew, the pool was HEATED (which has not always been the case with other rentals), the house was clean and the neighborhood was both convenient and quiet! The house is only a block from Mission Bay and so a beach area is very accessible. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and we have already reserved our time for next summer!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
